Hearing this, Joanna shook off Cedric's hand and left without looking back.
Looking at Joanna's back, Cedric's cold eyes turned gloomy, and his originally unhappy face looked a little horrible.
"Cedric." Aneirin called his name when he saw the horrible expression on his face.
Cedric came to sense, glanced at Aneirin indifferently and said in a cold voice, "Let's go."
Aneirin sighed, nodded slightly and said, "Don't push her so hard. You know that she is stimulated by Arvin's death. She hasn't completely forgiven you. You have to learn to be considerate."
"Am I not considerate enough? She has always been thinking about Arvin. Am I no better than a dead person?"
Cedric roared at Aneirin with fierce eyes.
Aneirin shrank his neck when he saw Cedric's horrible face. He said nervously, "Don't be excited. Look at you. Joanna can't fall in love with you because you always look so horrible. Aren't you afraid that she will leave you again?"
"How dare she! If she dares leave me, I'll break her legs." Cedric smiled coldly with stubbornness and madness in his eyes.
Seeing this, Aneirin said anxiously, "Calm down. You will only make your relationship stiff in this way. I really don't understand. Although Nacho is cold, he is not as impulsive as you. Is it because your fathers are different?"
"Shut up, do you want to die?" Hearing it, Cedric squinted his cold eyes and scolded Aneirin.
Aneirin felt so wronged that he did not dare say a word.
"Cheryl, are you okay?" Joanna sat by the bed and held Cheryl's hand. Looking at the gauze on Cheryl's arm, she asked nervously.
"I'm fine." Cheryl shook her head at Joanna with a faint smile.
"Why are you so stupid to come over and protect me?" Joanna looked at the gauze on Cheryl's arm guiltily and said.
"We are good friends." Cheryl smiled and said seriously, "I should save you when you were in danger."
Joanna was moved by Cheryl's words. Her eyes were filled with tears.
"How are you?" With a cold face, Cedric walked into the ward. He glanced at Cheryl and asked blandly.
"Young Master Cedric, you're here." After Cheryl saw Cedric, she seemed to be a little excited and wanted to get up from the bed.
Joanna held Cheryl's body and told her not to move.
"Thank you very much." Cedric rarely thanked anyone, but he really wanted to thank Cheryl. If it weren't for Cheryl, the injured person would be Cheryl smiled, looked at Cedric, shook her head and said, "Cedric, you don't have to thank me. Joanna is my good friend. It's my duty to save her."
"I heard that Director Huang wants to shoot a MV, but he hasn't chosen a female lead yet. I'll ask him to choose you." Cedric crossed his hands and said to Cheryl in an unusually elegant manner.
"Really?" Cheryl said with excitement on her beautiful face.
Director Huang was a top director and he seldom shot MV. His MV would certainly attract much attention.
Cheryl had always been a atmosphere person and had not been recognized by public, so she didn't want to miss such an opportunity.
"I never lie. It's your compensation for saving Joanna's life." Cedric nodded faintly. He stood up and walked to Joanna, reached out and wrapped his arms around Joanna's waist. When he saw the blood on Joanna's face, he frowned. He turned around and said to Cheryl, "Sorry, Joanna is a little tired. I'll take her back to rest first."
"Have a good rest." Cedric added.
Looking at Cedric's handsome face, Cheryl clenched her fists tightly. After watching him leave, her cheeks blushed.
She has become closer to Cedric.
Her eyes lit up. "Bring Joanna a bowl of bird's nest." When Cedric brought Joanna back to the villa, he ordered to the housekeeper.
Joanna frowned, pushed Cedric's hand away gently and said indifferently, "No, I'm not hungry now."
"You have to eat even if you're not hungry." Cedric took Joanna to the dining room.
In fact, Joanna hated Cedric's tough attitude. She didn't want to something that she didn't like to do, but Cedric always forced her to do that.
As soon as Joanna sat on the dining table, she heard a heartbreaking cry from the upstairs. Then Abigail went downstairs in a hurry and said, "Joanna, Cedric, the little baby is crying again. I don't know how to comfort him."
Holding the crying baby in her arms, Abigail walked to Cedric and Joanna, then said nervously.
Joanna took a look at Abigail and then picked up the baby.
The baby stopped crying when he realized that it was Joanna who held him.
He looked at Joanna pitifully with the same eyes as that of Cedric.
