As time went by, doctors and nurses went in and came out of the operating room, but no one stopped and told them about Cedric's situation.
At nine o'clock in the evening, the door of the operating room was finally opened.
They walked forward nervously, and asked, "Doctor, how's Ashe?"
"Is Ashe all right?"
"How's Cedric's injury?"
"Please calm down." The doctor reached out his hand to beckon them to calm down.
"Honey, don't worry. Listen to the doctor first." Hayden held Cornelia's shoulders and comforted.
Cornelia glanced at Hayden and waited for the doctor to speak nervously.
"Cedric is fine. The bullet didn't hurt his viscera and has been taken out. He will recover after a period of recuperation. Now, we will send him to the VIP ward."
"Thanks god." Cornelia, who had been nervous, muttered in Hayden's arms.
"Can you rest assured now?" Looking at Cornelia, Hayden shook his head and said.
"Cornelia, I'll stay here and take care of Ashe tonight."
Athena looked at Cedric, who had been pushed out "Let me stay here. You're in poor health recently."
"No. I must do something for Ashe. If she knew that he was injured, she would be very sad."
"Aunt Athena and Aunt Cornelia, both of you can go back. Let me take care of him."
Nacho, who had not spoken for a long time, interrupted Athena and Cornelia's conversation.
"Do you want to stay here with Ashe?" Athena looked at Nacho and said. Although she was very happy to see that Nacho was so nice to Cedric, she felt very guilty for Nacho.
"Yes. Go back with Joanna and Cheryl."
Nacho nodded faintly.
It was better for a man to take care of a patient in the hospital at night.
"Well, Ashley and Edward would be very happy to see that Cedric and you get along so well."
Looking at Nacho, Athena smiled.
Athena and Cornelia were about to take Joanna back home, but Joanna refused.
Joanna's face was pale, but her eyes were unusually bright.
"I'll stay here and take care of him."
Athena was worried about Joanna. When she was about to say something, Nacho said blandly, "Aunt Athena, let her stay here. I will take care of her."
"Okay, then I'll go back first."
Athena nodded, then left with Cornelia and Hayden. When Cheryl left, she looked at Nacho and Joanna meaningfully.
In the ward, the nurse gave Cedric an infusion and left. "When Cedric was young, he was a jerk."
Nacho sat on the sofa not far away and said indifferently.
Hearing this, Joanna looked up at Nacho in a daze.
Both Nacho and Cedric were very handsome. Probably because of their parents' good genes, they were very charming.
"Although he was a jerk and made a lot of trouble, he is my elder brother."
Nacho looked at Joanna with deep eyes and said.
"Why do you tell me this?" Joanna looked up at Nacho and then lowered her head.
"Because I know that you haven't forgiven him completely." Nacho looked at Joanna, and his green eyes became deeper.
"I'm very sorry about Arvin's death. If I could stop Cedric earlier, maybe he wouldn't die."
"It's not your fault." Hearing Arvin's name, Joanna felt a pain in her heart.
Memeries flashed back. She really hoped that she could forget them.
She clenched her fists, bit her lips, and said to Nacho in a muffled voice.
"Joanna, it's time to let go." Nacho sighed, and he looked so tired. "I know that you still hate Cedric. Sometimes, I'm very disappointed at what he has done and I don't want such a childish elder brother. But I have promised my mother that I will take care of him. He has been stubborn and arrogant since he was child. He didn't know what was love until he met you. Now he is learning how to love you."
"Nacho, stop."
Joanna looked at Nacho and said with tired eyes.
"I'm not trying to tell you how good Cedric is. I know that he did many terrible things to you. I only... hope you can think about it carefully. Don't be blinded by hatred."
"It's late. You can have a rest here. I'll watch the infusion for him"
Nacho said gently.
"Nacho, you are a very good man."
Joanna looked at Nacho's back and said in a low voice.
