A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 370

"Are you awake?" Joanna heard the cough of Cedric and immediately turned around. Then she saw Cedric who had opened his eyes and kept staring at her.

"I'm so happy that... you... didn't leave." Cedric muttered to Joanna.

Hearing it, Joanna had mixed feelings in her heart.

She put a straw on the cup and handed it to Cedric, "Drink some water. It'll make you feel better."

"Joanna... Let's... get married."

After drinking the water, Cedric leaned his body against the pillow and stared at Joanna's beautiful face affectionately.

Joanna was shocked by Cedric's words. Her hands, which were holding Kerr, became stiff.

"Are you still unwilling to forgive me? It doesn't matter. I will wait for you to forgive me. I really want you to accompany me. I know that it was my fault in the past. I was bad and I was a b*stard. But, I really love you... Joanna, can you forgive me?"

Cedric held Joanna's hand tightly with his hot hands. He looked at Joanna with pleading eyes.

Looking at Cedric like this, Joanna didn't know how to refuse him.

She looked down and saw Kerr staring at her with a pair of beautiful eyes, as if he was encouraging Joanna to agree with Cedric. "Cedric, do you feel better?"

When Joanna was about to speak, Cheryl came in. After seeing Cheryl, Joanna waved away Cedric's hand in a hurry.

Looking at his hand that had been pushed away by Joanna, Cedric's eyes were disappointed.

After Cheryl saw Joanna, she was a little unhappy. But she soon returned to normal. She leaned forward to hold Cedric's body very intimately and said, "Cedric, do you feel better?"

Cedric frowned. Just as he was about to push Cheryl's hand away, Joanna held Kerr in her arms and said to Cheryl blandly, "Cheryl, stay with Cedric. I'll take Kerr out first."

"Okay, I will take good care of Cedric." Cheryl showed an unusually gentle and virtuous smile when she heard that.

Looking at Cheryl like this, Joanna inexplicably felt a little annoyed.

After leaving Cedric's room, she smiled bitterly and leaned against the wall.

Perhaps, she really hoped too much...

Really...

"Joanna, have dinner here today."

Because of worrying about Cedric, Cornelia moved to the Xis. When she finished cooking and saw Joanna coming downstairs, she said to Joanna.

Joanna glanced at Cornelia, shook her head and said, "No, I'm not hungry."

"In fact, Cheryl and Ashe have nothing to do with each other. I know that Cheryl likes Ashe very much. I also wanted to match her with Ashe, but now you're back. I think you're the best match for Ashe. If you can be with him, it's the best."

Hearing what Cornelia said, Joanna's finger trembled.

"Sorry to let you down. I'm living a good life now. I'm just taking care of Cedric recently. We've broken up long ago."

After Joanna finished speaking, she left without looking at Cornelia's expression.

Cornelia looked at Joanna worriedly. She wanted to ask Joanna to stay, but she didn't know what excuse she should use.

Just as Cornelia was sitting in the dining room and staring at the dishes on the table in a daze, she received a phone call from Hayden. Hayden told Cornelia that Tyrone locked himself in the room and refused to see anyone.

Hearing this, Cornelia was so worried.

"I see. I'll go home right now."

Tyrone had been in a bad mood recently. Because of Abigail's death, Tyrone blamed himself. He used to be lively, gentle and polite, but from that day on, he seemed to have changed into another person, which made Cornelia very worried.

When Cornelia returned home, Hayden was walking around the living room with a worried face.

Seeing Cornelia, Hayden immediately stepped forward and held her hand. He said with worried eyes, "Cornelia, Tyrone locked himself in the room again. No matter what I say, he refuses to open the door."

In fact, Cornelia and Hayden had already decided to send Tyrone abroad. Because leaving here was very helpful for Tyrone to forget. They were preparing to send him abroad these days. But Tyrone locked himself in the room again.

"I'll go up and accompany him." Cornelia looked at Hayden and then walked upstairs.

Looking at Cornelia's back, Hayden held his forehead, hoping that Cornelia could make Tyrone open his heart.

"Tyrone, it's me." Cornelia pushed open the door and walked into Tyrone's room. She saw Tyrone holding a toy in his arms in a daze.

Cornelia knew the toy. When Abigail was living here, she liked this toy the most. This toy used to be Tyrone's favorite toy. Because Abigail liked it, Tyrone gave the toy to her without hesitation.

"Mom." Tyrone raised his head. His handsome face was pale as he looked at Cornelia with blurred eyes.

Looking at Tyrone's sad face, Cornelia touched his soft hair and whispered, "Good boy, it's okay."
