"How's Joanna now?"
After a long time, the whole corridor became extremely quiet. Both Athena and the housekeeper did not speak. Then Nacho asked the housekeeper.
"She is in the villa now. She seems to be greatly frightened. I asked the servants to take good care of her."
Nacho's eyes darkened. He straightened up and looked at Athena, who was wiping her tears, and said, "Aunt Athena, please stay here and look after Cedric. I'll go to the Xis' first. Tell me if anything happens to Cedric."
"Okay." Athena had always trusting Nacho.
Because Nacho had been obedient and thoughtful since he was a child.
"Madam, the young master is crying and looking for you." The servant held Kerr, who had been crying, walked into the room and said to Joanna who was in a daze.
Joanna rolled her eyes slightly. She tightened her body and said hoarsely, "Give Kerr to me."
When she reached out her hand and held Kerr, her whole arms stiff.
Kerr cried so sadly that his face turned red, which looked extremely pitiful. Looking at Kerr's pitiful appearance, Joanna lowered her head, kissed him and whispered, "Good boy, mommy is here."
"Madam, don't you go to the hospital to see Mr. Xi?" Seeing that Joanna relaxed a little when she held Kerr, the servant asked.
Hearing Cedric's name, Joanna's back trembled again.
She gently clenched her fists and pursed her lips.
"Mr. Xi is still being rescued. I don't know how he is at the moment." Looking at Joanna, the servant shook her head and sighed, and then left Joanna's bedroom.
In the quiet bedroom, there seemed to be a faint smell of blood. Joanna's back and even her whole body tightened.
She took a deep breath and smiled bitterly. She blinked her eyes, then tears rolled down her pale cheeks and slowly fell on Kerr's face.
Kerr blinked his red and swollen eyes, bubbled and touched Joanna's eyelids.
Being touched by Kerr's soft fingers, Joanna's body trembled a little.
She kissed his eyelids lovingly and muttered, "Kerr, what should I do? I'm so scared. I'm so afraid of losing you and your daddy."
"Since you're so afraid of losing Cedric, why don't you visit him?" A faint voice sounded at the door.
Hearing it, Joanna's back became stiff.
She slowly turned around and saw Nacho standing at the door and looking straight at her with shrewd eyes.
At the moment she saw Nacho, her hold her breath and her body began to tremble slightly.
She clenched her fists and asked dully, "Why... are you here?"
"I just came from the hospital and want to see how you are now." Nacho walked straight to Joanna and said.
When Joanna heard the word "hospital", she breathed rapidly.
She held the Kerr tightly in her arms with her stiff hands, and her pale lips made Nacho feel that she was very fragile.
"Do you want to know Cedric's current situation?"
Nacho looked at Joanna's pale face, moved a chair and sat next to Joanna.
Joanna raised her head and looked at Nacho. She vented the emotions that she had been suppressing in an instant, "I don't know what to do."
"I know. Joanna, it's time for you to forget your past. Those things should not be your burden. Cedric knows he is wrong. He should be punished for what he had done. If you don't want to love him anymore, I won't blame you. I just want to know what you're thinking about now. Do you really want to leave Cedric? Don't you want to be with him?" Nacho's words made Joanna want to cry.
She had never thought of leaving Cedric. She just felt that she didn't deserve Cedric in her heart.
"I think I don't deserve to be Cedric's wife." Joanna touched Kerr's soft hair and muttered.
"No, you deserve him." Nacho shook his head and said with gentle eyes.
"If you want to leave and calm down, I can help you. Come back when you figure it out. I will take care of Kerr."
"Okay." Nacho understood Joanna very much. He knew that Joanna only wanted to calm down and think about what she should do in the future.
Just like the last time, Joanna left the Xis alone quietly.
Cedric was really lucky. He was not seriously injured, and the knife just scratched his skin.
When he woke up, he was unusually calm, but his eyes were fixed on the door.
Seeing Cedric like this, Nacho knew who Cedric was waiting for.
"Give her some time." Nacho handed an apple to Cedric and said blandly.
