"Uncle, I miss my father." Kerr rubbed his cheeks against Nacho's neck and said.
Nacho gently touched Kerr's face, glanced at Lester and Trista, and then left with Kerr.
Seeing them leave, Lester held Trista's hand and said, "Trista, let's go."
Trista nodded and allowed Lester to hold her hand. She stared at Nacho's back in a daze.
She had a subtle feeling, and she didn't know why she had this feeling.
However, when she saw Nacho and Kerr for the first time, she had a strange feeling in her heart.
"Do I know the child and that man?" she thought.
Trista grabbed Lester's hand tightly and suppressed all her emotions.
"Paul, investigate the two people just now." After Nacho took Kerr into the car, he squinted his eyes and looked at Trista and Lester.
Paul did not ask him the reason. He just nodded and drove away.
Cedric went abroad for a meeting a month ago. Today was the day when he came back from abroad. Kerr hadn't seen Cedric for a month, so he was very excited.
As soon as Cedric returned to the villa, Kerr rushed to him. He hugged Cedric's body and rubbed his face against Cedric's chest.
Cedric reached out and gently touched Kerr's soft hair. Looking at Kerr's cute face, he smiled and said, "Did you listen to your uncle's words obediently?"
"Yeah, I'm very obedient. I've been waiting for you to go home." Kerr nodded and said.
There was a hint of tenderness on Cedric's face.
"That's good."
"Dad... I saw mom today." Kerr leaned against Cedric's arms and suddenly looked at him with unusually serious eyes.
Cedric's expression suddenly changed, and the smile on his face gradually disappeared.
Joanna's missing for five years was a great blow to Cedric.
After his legs were cured, he often went to Phoenix Mountain to look for Joanna every year. To his disappointment, he had been searching for Joanna for five years, but he still could not find her.
Cedric did not give up, nor did he abandon himself. He knew that Joanna was still alive. She must be living somewhere he could not see or touch.
He must take good care of himself and Kerr. Only in this way, Joanna would be happy when she came back.
"Kerr, where did you see mom?" Kerr called every woman mom when he could speak.
So Cedric didn't think too much. He just thought that Nacho might have taken Kerr out and Kerr called a woman mom.
"In the square. I saw mom in the Center Square, but I didn't call her."
Kerr puckered his mouth and said with a little grievance.
Seeing Kerr's pitiful look, Cedric felt a faint pain in his heart.
His eyes were filled with sorrow and sadness.
He really missed Joanna.
"Cedric." Nacho came out of the dinning room and saw Cedric who looked sad. He sighed and took Kerr off from Cedric's body.
Noticing that Cedric was disappointed, Kerr said with sad eyes, "Dad, did I say something that I shouldn't say? I won't talk about mom anymore, okay?"
Kerr had always been obedient. When he was four years old, he was sick and wanted to find Joanna. Cedric told him that Joanna had gone far away and had not come back yet. As long as Kerr was obedient, Joanna would come back soon.
At that time, Kerr had made up his mind to be an obedient child.
Because only in this way, Joanna would come back to him.
"No, you're always well- behaved." Cedric came to sense and said gently.
Kerr looked at Nacho and was at a loss.
Nacho asked the housekeeper to take Kerr upstairs to do his homework, then he sat next to Cedric. "Do you think of Joanna again?"
Cedric nodded. He looked out of the window and muttered, "Nacho, I don't know where Joanna is now."
"I'll find her. Trust me." Nacho looked at Cedric and thought of the woman he met today. The woman was very similar to Joanna, but she looked at him with strange eyes.
Was she Joanna?
