When Kitty saw the bottle in Sibyl's hand, she asked with some doubts, "What's in your hand?"
"Nothing." Sibyl hid the bottle and walked to the toilet.
Kitty looked at Sibyl's back and frown slightly.
She hoped that Sibyl could be more rational and not to do anything that she would regret.
"Joanna, you b*tch, I'm going to kill you!"
"Ah!" Joanna screamed in horror and immediately opened her eyes.
"Joanna, what's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" Cedric turned on the light, held Joanna whose face was covered by sweat and comforted her with distress.
Joanna rolled her eyes in shock. After seeing Cedric, she said with her lips trembling.
"Cedric, I dreamt that Kerr died."
"Fool, that's not real." Hearing this, Cedric laughed and shook his head.
"I'm so scared." Joanna's fingers kept trembling as she looked at Cedric.
Seeing Joann like this, Cedric's eyes darkened.
He knew what Joanna was afraid of. He got close to Joanna and kissed her lips gently. His kiss made Joanna feel warm and relieved.
"Fool, don't be afraid. I'm here with you, no one will hurt you and Kerr."
Cedric hadn't found Emma and the wire-puller yet, so it was understandable for Joanna to be so worried.
Joanna opened her eyes and looked at Cedric in a daze. She gently rubbed her head against Cedric's chest and slowly closed her eyes.
"Cedric, I'm sleepy."
"Then sleep. Don't be afraid. I'm here by your side." Cedric gently touched Joanna's head and comforted her.
Soon, Joanna fell asleep. Cedric touched her forehead and looked at her slightly wrinkled brows. At the thought of the fact that Joanna had woken up from a nightmare, he knew that Joanna was really scared.
His gentle eyes gradually became extremely cold and angry.
No matter what purpose the wire-puller had, Cedric would not let him go so easily because he made Joanna so scared.
"Haven't you found the wire-puller yet?" Cedric threw the document on the table heavily and looked at Paul with a gloomy face.
Paul raised his head and glanced at Cedric. Then he said hesitantly, "Young Master Cedric, we have been looking for Emma, but we haven't found her." Since they suspected Emma, Cedric's bodyguards had not found her.
"Where is Emma's child being buried?" After knocking on the table, Cedric narrowed his eyes and asked.
Paul looked at Cedric in confusion. He didn't understand why Cedric was suddenly so interested in the place where Emma's child was buried.
The Jade Cemetery was not a place of high land price.
Emma's child was buried here.
After Cedric and Paul arrived, they showed Emma's photo to the tomb guard.
"Oh, she came here when her child was buried. I haven't seen her after that."
"Are you sure she has never been here after that?"
"Yes, I'm sure." Looking at the tomb
guard, Cedric narrowed his cold eyes.
The tomb guard was frightened by Cedric's indifferent face, but he nodded and said, "I'm sure that I really haven't seen her after her child was buried."
Cedric glance at him and then went to the tomb of Emma's son.
The tomb of her son was very clean. There must be someone who often came here to clean it up. Seeing that Cedric was staring at the tomb in a daze, the tomb guard said immediately, "The young lady gave me some money and asked me to clean it up, so I cleaned it every day." After listening to the tomb guard's explanation, Cedric's eyes turned gloomy.
He looked at the tomb guard coldly and then left.
After Cedric left, a woman in black walked out from the dark corner.
When the tomb guard saw the woman, he immediately said, "I didn't say anything."
"I know." The woman's voice was a little hoarse. She took out an envelope from her pocket and handed it to the tomb guard.
"You are a smart man. You should know what to do next, right?"
"Yes." When the tomb guard saw the envelope which was filled with money, he nodded with greedy eyes.
After looking at the tomb guard coldly, the woman left.
