Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1322

She'd warned him not to have high hopes for her cooking skills.

Jonathan, clad in a white T-shirt and black casual pants, his muscular figure evident, hands stuffed in his pockets, looked at her with a mixed expression.

"What exactly do you want to eat?" Estelle asked again, her eyes clear: "I've learned a few cooking tricks from Blythe; they're quite tasty."

"Whatever you feel like eating, eat. The rest can be for me," Jonathan encouraged her.

"Alright, you go do your thing; I'll holler when it's ready," Estelle said with a smile.

"Watch out not to scald yourself with the hot water!" Jonathan cautioned her anxiously.

"I know, I know, I'm not a kid!" Estelle waved him off, "Off you go!"

Jonathan felt that Estelle might not want him to know about her cooking skills, so he turned and left.

About ten minutes later, Estelle stood at the door of the master bedroom, poking her head in to see if Jonathan was in a meeting.

Jonathan stood up with a grin and asked, "Is it ready?"

Estelle nodded. "It's good to go."

Jonathan came over, lightly pinched her bun, and said, "I'm not picky, as long as it's fully cooked."

Estelle swatted his hand away. "It's such simple food; of course I can cook it."

Jonathan smiled contentedly, even a bit expectantly, leading her by the hand towards the dining room.

Estelle had already served the pasta, and she said with a laugh, "I cooked both flavors together, so you can have whichever you want."

Jonathan's lips curled into a small smile, revealing what he believed to be a genuinely sincere smile: "Ella, you're so clever!"

"Save your praises until after you've eaten!" Estelle handed him utensils.

Jonathan sat down to see the that pasta in his bowl was rich with ingredients like ham and greens. It looked very tempting.

"I told you, with enough practice, anyone can improve their cooking," Estelle said confidently, then began to eat.

Jonathan also felt she had indeed improved this time, giving her an approving look.

After a while, Estelle frowned at the food in her bowl and said, "I followed the steps exactly; why doesn't it taste as good as when Blythe cooks it?"
