Estelle couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, enough already!"

Jonathan resumed his cooking.

Magdalene texted back quickly, "Wow, you really have Jonathan under your thumb!"

Estelle chuckled. "He just can't resist my cooking skills."

Magdalene got the point immediately: "I totally get him!"

Estelle texted back, "Now you can rest easy!"

Magdalene was thrilled.

Estelle put down her phone. Jonathan's breakfast was ready again, and even before he brought it over, Estelle was already drawn in by the delicious aroma.

Jonathan turned his boiled noodles into fried ones.

"Give it a taste!" Jonathan placed the noodles in front of her, his hands resting on the table, awaiting her verdict.

Jonathan bent over to kiss her forehead and said, "These are not flaws; they're opportunities for me to love you more. I'm lucky!"

Estelle felt warm inside, her eyes glistening. "Let's eat first."

After breakfast, Jonathan cleaned up the kitchen. Estelle saw a missed call from Jason on her phone, so she went to the balcony to return his call.
