Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 657

Hattie couldn't help but feel excited. Yeah, maybe Jonathan liked her type, and Estelle just happened to be a tutor at the Lamont family, hence having an advantage.

Jonathan had punished so many people, but he had let her go—maybe he really couldn't bear to hurt her!

In the afternoon

When Yvonne was changing in her dressing room, Estelle came to help her choose the costume and jewelry for the play.

Yvonne asked her assistant to leave and personally poured some juice for Estelle. Concerned, she asked, "Is your hand alright now? If you're not feeling well, I can help you ask for leave from Mr. Mayfield."

"Thank you, but I'm fine now!" Estelle replied softly, looking down as she worked.

A trace of anger appeared on Yvonne's face. "I was talking with Hattie at lunch today, and she bragged to me that Jonathan punished everyone but didn't do anything to her. It was so annoying to listen to!"

Estelle remained calm, "Maybe it really has nothing to do with her!"

"Nothing to do with her?" Yvonne sneered, "Why would Malloy kidnap you? It's all to make her happy! I don't know why Jonathan let her go? Now she's so smug and even seems to take pleasure in other people's misfortune. It's really unfair!"

Estelle said, "There's nothing unfair about it. We're all adults, and whoever does something should take responsibility for it!"

Seeing that Estelle was unmoved, Yvonne chuckled, "You're right! I just saw Hattie getting too full of herself, thinking that Jonathan treated her differently. It's quite funny."

Estelle had already picked out the clothes and jewelry. She looked up calmly at Yvonne, "It's funny that she would brag to you about it!"

Yvonne froze, the sneer on her lips stiffening.

Without looking at her again, Estelle turned and left.
