Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 676

Emily arrived at the neighborhood where Elliott lived, who was already waiting downstairs. He picked up her suitcase and headed upstairs.

Gina was making lunch. When she saw Emily dragging her luggage, her eyes became slightly moist, and she quickly returned to the kitchen.

Emily put away the luggage and went into the kitchen to help. She handed a bank card to Gina, "Mom, here's 500,000. We're going to the hospital this afternoon to have a doctor arrange the surgery."

Gina looked at the bank card on the countertop, stunned for a moment, with a complicated expression, and after a long time, she said, "Emily, I went by myself yesterday. The hospital said I have to recover well before I can have surgery, and the surgeon has to be invited from abroad, so we have to wait for a while."

"Well, at least you can rest well during this period." Emily smiled, "Don't worry. I've consulted about your illness. As long as the surgery is successful, it can be cured. Don't think too much about it."

"Okay!" Gina nodded her head and asked, "Emily, what did you promise Noreen?"

Emily hesitated for a moment and shook her head with a smile, "Just a small favor."

Gina didn't say anything. How could it be just a small favor? Is it worth 500,000?

But what else could she say?

Both she and Noreen were executioners.

Seeing Gina's heavy face, Emily hurriedly comforted her, "Really, it's nothing. I borrowed this 500,000 from her, and I'll return it to her!"

Gina stared at Emily, "How will you return it?"

Emily optimistically said, "I've already started working. I'll earn the money and pay her back."

Of course, her current salary wasn't that much. She planned to find a few more part-time jobs, earn more money, and pay Noreen back as soon as possible.

She could slowly pay back the money she owed to others, but Noreen's money, she wanted to pay off as soon as possible.

Gina couldn't bear to see Emily working so hard, "Emily, don't push yourself too hard!"

"It's okay, Dad used to say it's good for young people to suffer a bit!"
