"Of course, you can leave, but what about your promise?" Frank stood up and approached her in staggering steps. He also pressed his hand on the door to prevent her from opening it.

Melanie blinked her eyes several times before she recalled the matter. "Don't worry. I'll keep it in mind. I just haven't found the right opportunity yet. I'll surely get it done since I've promised you."

"We create opportunities. You should know the consequences if you keep delaying the inevitable. I'm not a very patient man," Frank said smilingly. Then he touched Melanie's face, and his fingers moved toward her lips.

Melanie felt her heart trembling with her back pressed against the door.
