Chapter 553 Backer
"Benjamin, are you busy? I want to confess something to you. I wonder if it would be convenient for you to listen to it?" Lauren asked cautiously.
The man had no extra emotion and said lightly, "Speak."
She pressed her lips lightly, sorted out her words, and spoke in a low voice, "Frank and I know each other."
She mustered up a lot of courage to say those words. In fact, she was not sure whether Benjamin knew anything.
She still clearly remembered what Benjamin asked her that night, so she needed to say something honestly to express her attitude toward Benjamin.
Benjamin didn't react much after hearing that. He just said lightly, "You should tell the police. Maybe it can provide them with some useful clues. Don't you think so?"
Lauren was stunned.
She pressed her lips tightly and whispered, "Benjamin, are you angry with me? I can explain. Frank forced me to do so. In fact, I never thought about doing anything to you. Frank forced me."
There was no response from the other party.
She felt her heart was clenched tightly, and she was nervous and panicked.
She pressed her lips and continued, "Benjamin, do you not believe me?"
"Lauren, do you think it matters to you whether I believe it or not?"
"Certainly." Lauren was slightly emotional. "Of course, it's important. You can check it out. I'm not familiar with Frank, and I have no interaction with him. He found me and forced me to do those things, all because of Harper. He wanted to seek justice for Harper and wanted to make her happy. The reason why I agreed is just because I want to be with you...."
