All the doubts he had in his mind had finally cleared up.
He had also made up his mind. He was going to find Preslie and help the president and Yesseca get back together.
Sheldon's plan was a simple one.
Since it was all a giant misunderstanding, all he needed to do was explain everything to them.
When he arrived in Agaphen City, Sheldon went over to Preslie's and Yesseca's old store, but found that it had closed down.
He was surprised to see it like this and quickly called Preslie over the phone.
It was Yesseca who answered.
Preslie wasn't in the mood to answer her phone. She was sitting down on a chair inside her newly furnished shop. She was in such a deep daze that she didn't notice her phone had been ringing.
Yesseca answered the call on her behalf.
"Hi Sheldon, sorry but Preslie can't answer the phone right now. Why are you calling?" Yesseca whispered.
Sheldon became worried.
He asked anxiously, "What happened to her?"
Yesseca looked at Preslie from a distance. She wanted to explain but then decided not to.
Noticing that Yesseca wasn't saying anything, Sheldon then asked, "Where are you right now? I'll be right over."
Yesseca told Sheldon their address.
She knew that Preslie and Sheldon were very close.
Perhaps having Sheldon around would help Preslie feel better.
Ten minutes later, Sheldon arrived at the front door of their new store.
Yesseca was waiting for Sheldon at the door.
After getting out of the car, Sheldon immediately asked, "Where is Preslie?"
Yesseca pointed inside the store. She lowered her voice and said, "Preslie is depressed because of her family. They have come causing trouble again."
Sheldon frowned. "Why is her family causing her trouble?"
Yesseca gave him a rough account of what had happened.
Sheldon couldn't believe it!
