Preslie's eyes widened.
Her heart was racing.
Her heart was beating much faster than before.
"Mr. Hawls... do... do you really mean that?" She asked softly.
"Of course I do!" Sheldon said with certainty.
Preslie felt her emotions surging.
That other night, her parents said that the reason he brought her home right away was because she was ugly. If she had been beautiful like Amelia, Mr. Hawls would have taken advantage of her.
She felt very uncomfortable when she heard this, but Yesseca told her that it wasn't true.
Sheldon was a real gentleman, that's why he took her back to her home. It had nothing to do with her appearace.
Now she understood. Yesseca had been right all along.
He didn't think that she was ugly at all.
"Do you really think I'm cute Mr. Hawls?" In the heat of the moment, Preslie asked him the question she had never dared to ask before.
"Very much so." Sheldon looked at her face and found that the more he looked at her, the more beautiful she became. "I've never seen a woman who is as cute as you. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever met in my entire life."
Preslie's face turned red.
Sheldon suddenly realized something as he saw her face turn red. His face was red as well.
The two of them were blushing as they looked at each other.
After some time, Preslie stood up.
She said, "Uhm... Mr. Hawls! I realized I haven't gotten you any tea since you've arrived. Let me go and get you some."
After saying this, she quickly walked away.
Preslie didn't go to fetch any tea, instead she ran into the bathroom.
Her face was as red as a monkey's bottom.
The moment she entered the bathroom she splashed water on her face!
Oh my God!
"What is going on with me?!"
How did her face get so red?!
