Sheldon was fine. He was a strong man. He could stand the cold for much longer, but Preslie couldn't. She had also been tired out from setting up the store and from her fit of rage earlier by the Fernandez family.
This was the perfect condition for a virus to infect her!
Under both Sheldon and Yesseca's insistence, Preslie made her way to a hospital and got a check up. Sure enough she had gotten a mild fever and a cold.
Because she didn't want to delay the grand opening of their new store, Preslie opted for a treatment that would cure her in the shortest time possible, by having the medicine administered via infusion therapy.
The doctor provided two whole bottles of water for Preslie. He estimated that the treatment would take an entire hour to complete.
Yesseca had wanted to accompany Preslie, but when she noticed how much Sheldon wanted to as well, she decided to change her mind and allow him to be with her.
She told Preslie that she had some things to attend to.
After Yesseca left, Sheldon accompanied Preslie as she was getting treated. A young nurse who had come in to give Preslie an injection noticed how handsome Sheldon was. She had trouble locating Preslie's vein because she kept looking at him.
Sheldon's face hardened at this.
Speaking rather harshly, he said, "Hey! Watch where you're putting that needle! Do it properly!"
Sheldon was so fierce that he looked absolutely terrifying.
The nurse didn't dare to look at Sheldon again after hearing that. She immediately inserted the needles into Preslie's body, properly.
After the nurse left, Preslie looked at Sheldon, surprised, "Mr. Hawls. I thought you said that you'd never get angry, no matter what."
Just then, she noticed how angry he was when he spoke to the nurse.
Sheldon responded, there was a touch of worry in his voice, "She wasn't focusing on her duty. I had to make sure she didn't do anything that would hurt you."
Preslie felt a warm feeling in her heart.
Mr. Hawls had gotten angry because he was concerned about her!
Mr. Hawls was so nice to her!
Preslie then asked, "Mr. Hawls, you said that you'd help me if anyone ever bullied me. When you saw me being pricked by needles, you were worried that I would be in pain and got angry. Why are you so nice to me?"
