Her sheer defiance sparked a twisted interest in David. He always loved girls who put up a fight.
Just as he reached out to stroke her face, Loyce snapped her leg up, aiming a brutal kick straight at his groin. David had quick reflexes and blocked it with his forearm, letting out a dark chuckle. "You think a little kick like that is going to take me out?"
Loyce switched to English. "Untie me, and I promise I'll rock your world."
She purposely dragged out the last few words, lacing them with a sultry, provocative edge.
The bait worked perfectly. David was used to terrified, submissive girls. A fiery one like this? That was exactly his type.
Grinning, he flipped her over and leaned down to untie the ropes binding her wrists.
As he worked the knot loose, he spoke to her in English. "You know, I can't quite put my finger on it, but you look familiar. We must have some sort of connection, eh, sweetheart?"
The moment the ropes fell away, Loyce spun around, flashing him a dangerously chilling smile. "We sure do, David. I was the one who wiped out half the Motorcycle Gang years ago. We have quite a score to settle."
David's pupils dilated in pure horror. The memories flooded back—the legendary sniper who had hidden from an impossible vantage point, taking out a dozen of his best men without missing a single shot.
His eyes went bloodshot. He instantly reached for his holster to gun her down, only to grasp empty air.
"Fuck—" he roared, opening his mouth to scream for his men. But he was too late.
*Thwip—*
A muted shot echoed in the room.
Maintaining her cold smile, Loyce jammed the gun she had smoothly slipped from his holster right into his chest and pulled the trigger.
David collapsed backward onto the bed, blood instantly blossoming across the sheets.
Loyce slid off the bed, looking down at his corpse. "Thanks for being so considerate and putting a silencer on this. You just saved me a lot of trouble."
With David dead, Loyce grabbed his phone from the table, grabbed his hair, and scanned his dead face to unlock it. She immediately dialed Hank.
"Hello?" Hank's voice answered, sharp and alert.
"Hank, it's me."
Her voice made him instantly relax, though he quickly followed up, "What's the situation? Don't tell me you wiped them all out by yourself again."
Knowing her flawless track record, Hank honestly wouldn't put it past her. His sister was a total badass.
"Not all of them. I just killed their boss," Loyce said calmly. "You need to send a fleet of ambulances. There are a lot of pregnant women down here. Did you know what this gang actually does?"
