Two days later.
Charlotte returned to Imperial Heights.
The villa had been completely redecorated. The grand hall was filled with colorful balloons, radiating a festive and joyful atmosphere.
"Mr. Blair, everything in the nursery has been replaced."
The butler stepped forward, handing the blueprints over to Anthony.
The two rooms were originally decorated in blue.
Following a sudden change of orders, one of them had been urgently remodeled into a girl's suite.
It was no exaggeration to say the chandelier on the ceiling was made of real diamonds.
The rest of the furnishings were simply priceless.
A princess suite... in every sense of the word!
"Good."
Anthony nodded in satisfaction. He looked down at Frederick, gently tapping the baby's adorable nose. "Mom, thank you for watching the babies."
He then looked at Frederick in Lavinia's arms, his voice softening. "I need to go take care of Lottie."
"Go on, go on."
Nora and Lavinia were more than happy to oblige. Holding the babies, they quickly shooed him away, waving him off. "Take your time. The babies are safe with us."
The two grandmothers each held a baby, feeling an indescribable sense of bliss.
Nora smiled. "Ophelia looks exactly like her mother did when she was little. Absolutely beautiful. I'm sure she'll be just as brilliant as her mom when she grows up."
"Frederick looks just like Anthony," Lavinia chimed in, her eyes crinkling with a smile. "How did our Lottie manage to have such perfect babies?"
Not only did they get one of each gender, but their features were distributed so perfectly.
"Our precious little darlings."
The two mothers-in-law exchanged a look, unable to hold back their joyful laughter.
They were utterly content.
In the bedroom.
Charlotte lay in bed, her top lifted as Anthony gently wiped her down with a warm towel.
"Are you tired?"
Noticing the exhaustion in his eyes and his slightly messy hair, Charlotte reached out to touch his face. "There are plenty of people in the house. Go get some rest," she said, her voice raspy.
From the moment she entered the hospital, he had been by her side, caring for her and the babies non-stop.
