As Dallin said, Julien was indeed eager for revenge, but he would not kill Dallin directly.
If he did that, he would lose all the merits that his grandpa had gotten.
The country would ignore the matter that he killed Dallin because of those merits, but then all the merits would be effaced to offset the influence and trouble caused by this matter.
Julien thought it was not worth it. After all, his grandfather had sacrificed his life for these merits, so he would not do that.
Therefore, he would use the most correct mean to get revenge. He would find all the evidence that Dallin was guilty, and then he would request that he execute Dallin.
He believed that his request would be granted.
For the sake of his grandfather and his taxes over the years, he thought he would certainly be satisfied as long as he didn’t let hundreds of thousands of people lose their jobs or destroy their families.
Hearing Julien’s words, Dallin suddenly clenched his hand holding the walking stick, but soon he released it and smiled disapprovingly, "Well, let me see your ability."
"I won't let you down. I just hope you won't beg me for mercy on that day," Julien raised his chin and looked down at Dallin.
Dallin didn’t like to look at Julien's scornful face, but he had no choice. After all, his height was lower than Julien’s, so he could only barely maintain the smile on his face, "Of course I won’t."
"That's good," Julien put his hands in his trouser pocket and threatened coldly, "I hope you can send the parts to Skylight Corporation within an hour; otherwise I will let you suffer a lot even if I can't kill you now. You can have a try if you don't believe it."
Dallin smiled and said, "Don't worry. Since I promised to return the parts, I will not delay. There are some things you can't do even if you want to do."
Julien's eyes flickered slightly, "That's a pity. I hope you will be a little late."
In this way, he would have an excuse to deal with this old man.
Dallin laughed again, "Your purpose has been achieved, so now can you achieve my purpose?"
"What do you want?" Julien narrowed his eyes.
Dallin also stood up, "You also know that I have never been to Port City in the past thirty years, and now I am here for my only daughter."
Julien asked, "Greta Sullivan is really your illegitimate daughter?"
Dallin lowered his eyelids, "Yes, she is. Do you doubt that she is my daughter?"
"The person at the police station told me about your way of getting along with Greta, so I can’t believe that she is your daughter." Julien bluntly admitted that he didn't believe it.
Dallin smiled, "I see. No wonder you have doubts. It’s normal. My attitude towards Greta is not good. After all, an illegitimate daughter is a man's disgrace. I’m sure you would have the same attitude if you were me."
"It's impossible," Julien sneered, "First of all, I will not be like you, who loved a woman and got entangled with another woman at the same time. You have an illegitimate daughter with that woman, but you treat your daughter badly and regard her as a disgrace. Isn't it your disgrace that you can't control yourself? Isn't your disgrace brought by yourself?"
Julien ripped off Dallin’s fig leaf, exposing Dallin’s most hypocritical side.
