"Boyfriend?" the woman froze and then responded, "So you are this gentleman's girlfriend, sorry."
She took her hand off Julien's chest and smiled at Sydney, "Sorry, Miss. I didn't mean to do it. I just wanted to wipe his face, so I accidentally put my hand on his chest. You are not angry, are you?"
She said she was sorry, but her face was not the least bit apologetic. Instead, she smiled.
Her smile was provocative.
Especially when she said "you are not angry, are you", she sounded so hypocritical, which proved that she was provoking Sydney.
Sydney was about to laugh in anger.
She guessed this woman was deliberately provoking her because this woman took a fancy to Julien.
After all, Julien was good-looking, tall, strong, elegant, and wealthy.
It was not surprising that such a superb man was coveted by other women.
Sydney looked at the man in the bed who had not woken up yet. She was furious and distressed.
She was furious that he attracted another woman.
She was distressed that he was lying here with a bandage around his head. His wound seemed very painful.
Sighing, Sydney knew it was not Julien's fault that this hypocrite had appeared, so after being angry at Julien for a moment, she withdrew her gaze and turned her attention back to the woman in front of her, saying in an icy voice, "Who said I was not angry? I'm very angry. Get out of the way!"
Her tone was sharp and commanding. She was urging the woman to hurry up and walk away from the bed.
The smile on the woman's face stiffened. She did not expect Sydney to speak so bluntly to embarrass her. There was a glint of anger in her eyes, but it soon dissipated. The woman gave a gentle smile. "Sorry, Miss. I know you don't want me to stay here, but I can't leave. I caused the accident, so I have to be responsible for it. I want to stay with him and take care of him until he recovers. I hope you will understand."
Sydney was stunned by her words. She had never thought that this woman would say something so righteous to stay by Julien's side. This woman was disgusting.
Sydney's expression was very ugly as she looked stonily at the woman in front of her, her eyes full of rage and disgust. "You made my boyfriend lie here. You should take responsibility, but there are millions of ways. I don't think my boyfriend needs you to take care of him. After all, I am his girlfriend. I'm the one who should take care of him. So I advise you not to do my job."
Sydney thought she was polite enough.
After all, no woman could be nice to a hypocrite who coveted her boyfriend.
Some grumpy women would point at such a hypocrite's nose and curse her.
Sydney just said something a little harsh.
She hoped this woman would have some shame and would get out of the way. Otherwise, Sydney would not go easy on her.
She was no longer as weak as before. Now she would rather let others suffer than let herself suffer.
However, Sydney underestimated this woman's shamelessness.
The woman stared at Sydney with an injured look. Her eyes reddened, and she cried.
Sydney frowned tightly. "What are you crying about?"
The woman covered her face and sobbed in a small voice. "Miss, I know you don't want me to take care of your boyfriend, but I didn't mean to overstep my bounds. I just want to take care of him. After all, I caused him to be like this. If I don't do something for him, I'll feel guilty, ashamed, and remorseful. I'll be tortured, so I hope you can give me a chance to make amends and let me take care of him. Don't worry, I will never do anything else to him. I just want to atone for my guilt. If I can't do so, I..."
"What do you want?" Sydney's face grew colder and colder.
