Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce! novel Chapter 769

Seeing the sullen look on Julien's face, Sydney lifted her hands and cupped his face, "Okay. Take it easy! I'm fine, really! I don't care about others as long as you understand me and stand by my side."

Julien looked into her serious eyes and sighed, "But it's not fair to you."

"If you think it's not fair to me, you can make it up to me in other ways. As for Greta, listen to me and don't push her too hard. After all, she only threatened me, nothing else." Sydney talked to Julien.

As Sydney persuaded him once again, Julien compromised on his decision, "Okay, I'll tell Zach."

Julien then grabbed his phone from the bed and sent a message to Zach.

Zach was dealing with Greta out of Julien’s ward at the moment.

Greta was disappointed to see that Zach was alone and that Julien hadn't come out. She looked behind Zach and into the room.

Noticing Greta's intentions, Zach closed the door behind him. His face darkened, and he snapped, "What are you doing?"

Greta's eyes flickered. She stopped looking at the door and smiled, "Nothing."

Zach grunted, "Don't think I don't know what you're up to."

Greta wanted to see Julien, while Zach wouldn't give her the chance.

Greta forced a smile. She ignored Zach's taunts. She asked as she tucked her hair behind her ear, "Zach, is Mr. Flint feeling better?"

"Mr. Flint is fine. But he should have spent a lovely night with Ms. Raines last night instead of spending it in the hospital." Zach hissed.

Greta gave a look of resentment when Zach said Julien should have spent a lovely night with Ms. Raines last night, but she soon regained her composure. She smiled, excitement in her eyes. "Is Mr. Flint awake?"

Zach made a grunt. He didn't answer her, but he didn't deny it either, which meant Julien was awake.

Greta folded her palms and exclaimed, "This is so great! Mr. Flint is finally awake! Could you let me in to see Mr. Flint?"

Immediately, Zach was alerted. He hurriedly blocked the door behind him. "You want to see Mr. Flint?"

"Yes." Greta saw Zach's action clearly. She was angry in her mind, but she didn't show it. She sighed and then gave an apologetic look. "It's all my fault. I got you guys into an accident, so I wanted to apologize to Mr. Flint in person. And then..."

"And then you want to stay with Mr. Flint and take care of him?" Zach sneered.

Greta blushed. "I'm responsible for the accident. I'm supposed to take care of Mr. Flint until he recovers."

"Heh." Zach snorted, "Ms. Sullivan, forget about it! You pissed off Ms. Raines last night. Mr. Flint only cares about Ms. Raines. Do you think Mr. Flint will let you take care of him? Mr. Flint doesn't need a nanny. He doesn't like strangers either. Don't bother apologizing to Mr. Flint. We both know you want to use this opportunity to get close to Mr. Flint, right?"

A complicated look came on Greta's face. She lowered her head in embarrassment and denied, "No, I didn't want to..."

"That's all!" Zach rolled his eyes at Greta. "I don't care what you are up to. In short, Mr. Flint doesn't need you to take care of him, and you better forget you ever intended to. He won't lay his eyes on any other woman, especially not you. You are way beneath Mr. Flint. Go away before things get too ugly. Or you'll suffer the consequences."

Greta bit her lower lip. She didn't say anything. She looked frustrated.

Zach didn't soften her miserable expression. He lifted his wrist and looked at his watch. "All right. I gave you a warning. Ms. Raines has told Mr. Flint what you said to her last night, and Mr. Flint is angry, so he's..."
