"OK. I'll have it prepared. When Mr. Cahill gets pissed off, I'll bring it to him." Zach responded with a smile.
Julien nodded, "Okay."
Zach then reported with a frown, "Mr. Flint, although Mr. Cahill turned down Fabian, Fabian won't sell us his shares. He said that even if he couldn't sell his shares to anyone, he wouldn't sell his shares to us."
Zach paused, turned to Julien, and asked again, "Mr. Flint, what are you going to do?"
"He's not selling his shares to us?" Julien folded his legs. The light in the car was dim, and the expression on Julien's face was not clearly visible. But his lips were slightly curled, so he must have been angry inside and was suppressing his anger.
"Does he think I can't get his shares if he doesn't sell them to me?" Julien clenched his fists and continued, "On the contrary, I will get him to sell me his shares willingly."
"Mr. Flint, what are you going to do?" Zach turned to Julien.
Julien said in a bland voice, "I remember his son loves gambling, right?"
"Yes." Zach nodded, "But Fabian had beat his son days ago and locked him in the house, so his son rarely goes to gamble anymore because he doesn't have any money."
Julien grunted, "What if we gave his son some money and took him to gamble again? If his son gets addicted to gambling again, when he loses all his money, you go to talk to Fabian again. By then, I'm sure he'll willingly sell his shares to me. After all, that is his only son. I guess he won't let his son get ruined. He will try everything to pay his son's debts."
Julien should not be blamed for being so merciless to involve Fabian's son.
Fabian had provoked Julien over and over again.
Besides, Fabian would not have been generous to Julien if the former had succeeded in his plan.
In the business world, any means was possible and the loser was at the mercy of the winner.
Zach agreed with Julien's plan. He nodded, "I got it, Mr. Flint. I'll get things arranged. And there is one more thing."
"What?" Julien took out his phone to check the time. However, when the screen lit up, he saw that there were two messages. They were both from Sydney.
Julien's gloomy face eased a bit.
Then he checked the messages to see what Sydney had sent him.
For the first message, Sydney thanked him for the breakfast he had sent to her.
For the second message, Sydney told him that she had cooked him some soup and had it sent to his office.
The second message was sent half an hour ago.
Skylight was an hour's drive from Flint Corporation, so Sydney's soup should still be on its way.
If Julien hurried to the office now, when he arrived, the soup should have just been delivered.
"Let's go back to the office!" Julien put his phone away and said to Zach.
Zach was about to continue his report to Julien. Suddenly, Julien instructed him to head for the company and Zach was taken aback. It took him a few seconds to regain his composure. He coughed awkwardly and asked, "Mr. Flint, is it something urgent?"
Julien nodded, but he didn't tell Zach what the emergency was.
Zach then shut his mouth and started the car immediately.
After the car drove out of the plant, Julien remembered that Zach had something to report to him. "You just mentioned something. What's it about?"
The corner of Zach's mouth twitched. He'd thought Julien had forgotten about it.
Zach tugged at his tie with one hand and reported, "It's nothing important. The lawyer who had negotiated the settlement with Greta reported this morning that the matter was settled."
