Julien replied, "Yes. I'm having the soup."
Then he scooped up a spoonful of soup and poured it back into the bowl to make a sound, "Did you hear it?"
Sydney smiled, "Yes. Do you like it? It took quite a while."
"Yes." Julien nodded and then frowned, "Zach was just with me. He wanted to taste it."
"Really?" Sydney raised her eyebrows in surprise and then chuckled, "Looks like it’s tasty. Zach was also intrigued."
"I didn't let him try it." Julien snorted, "You made the soup for me. I won't let anyone else taste it."
Sydney was amused to hear Julien's domineering tone. "Don't you think you're being too petty?"
"No." Julien shook his head, "I'm just defending my stuff. How is that petty? You made the soup for me. How can I share it with others?"
"You have a point." Sydney nodded.
Actually, Sydney was happy about Julien's ‘pettiness’.
No one liked it if one gave a gift and then the gift was shared with others.
Therefore, Sydney was happy that Julien kept the soup for himself.
"By the way, Greta apologized to me today." It suddenly occurred to Sydney.
Julien stopped drinking the soup for a moment. Then he nodded, "It’s good."
Julien planned to have Zach call Greta if she wouldn’t apologize to Sydney in the next two days.
"How's her attitude?" Julien asked.
Julien was so busy today that he didn't have time to pay attention to the matter, so he didn't know about it.
Sydney snickered, "Her attitude? It's disgusting."
Julien frowned at once, "What's going on?"
"It’s no big deal. It’s just..."
Sydney told Julien what Greta had said in her apology.
Julien's eyebrows furrowed more tightly.
Sydney rubbed her temples and said, "Anyway, she was trying to mislead people."
"I'll let Zach take care of it." Julien spoke in a hushed voice.
Sydney shook her head, "It's okay. Sean had said to take care of it too, but I stopped her. I won’t see her again. No need to deal with her. I knew from the beginning that she didn’t mean to apologize to me and that she would play tricks anyway. I saw it coming. She was nobody in my eyes. I would just ignore her. If we take her seriously, she'll come to us again."
Hearing Sydney's words, Julien relaxed his eyebrows a little, "Okay, let's ignore her."
Despite what Julien said, he had a different idea in mind.
'That woman must pay the price for hurting Leaf. Leaf is kind, but I am not.'
Julien was going to forgive Greta after she gave Sydney an apology. However, he did not expect the woman to make such a scene.
In that case, Julien would not go easy on her.
Julien narrowed his eyes, and a cold glimmer flashed across his eyes.
Sydney had no idea that Julien had decided to deal with Greta later. She smiled when she heard that Julien agreed to leave Greta alone.
The two chatted for a while longer and then hung up the phone.
