Julien kept silent but agreed with Hunter.
'God is screwing with Sydney.'
Julien massaged his forehead and asked Hunter tiredly, "Then do you still think that I should tell Sydney her origins?"
Hunter shook his head and smiled bitterly. "Of course not, unless I want her to die."
Julien snorted, "If so, watch your mouth and don't let her know what she shouldn't know."
"Got it. Don't worry." Hunter nodded and didn't say anything else.
Julien was taciturn all the time.
Thus, both of them quieted down.
For a moment, the large office fell silent, and the atmosphere became depressing.
After a while, Hunter said with complicated feelings, "I know that you hide her origins from her for her own good, but have you thought that you can't hide it from her forever? She will know sooner or later. After she finds that you have known it already but haven't told her, do you really think that she won't blame you?"
Julien rubbed his hands. After a while, he replied, "She will blame me, but I believe that she will understand my good intention. She's smart and will know what she should do."
"I hope so." Hunter shrugged.
Julien picked up the cup and gulped down the rest of his coffee. "You have known everything you want to know. Is there anything else?"
Julien meant that Hunter could leave now.
Hunter curled his lips. "At least, I'm your ally now. Don't you feel that you're too heartless? You ask me to leave as soon as you used me."
Julien glanced at him impatiently.
Hunter stood up. "Alright, don't look at me like this. I feel terrified. I will leave immediately."
Julien shouted, "Zach!"
Zach had been waiting outside the door. When Julian called him, he immediately pushed open the door and walked in. "Mr. Flint, what can I do for you?"
"See him off." Julien raised his chin towards Hunter.
"OK." Zach looked at Hunter with a smile. "Mr. Cohen, this way please."
Hunter rolled his eyes at Zach. "You even waited outside the door all the time, and Julien knew about that. It seems that you two have decided to ask me to leave from the beginning as long as you get the chance."
Zach replied with a smile, "It's great that you know it. Mr. Cohen, this way please."
Hunter read Zach's meaning from his gaze. 'Now that you know we want you to leave, you would better be sensible and leave immediately.'
Hunter curled his lips resignedly and followed Zach.
The office became quiet again.
Julien looked in the direction where Hunter had left and thought of what Hunter had said in the end. Julien wasn't as calm as he said.
He was worried that Sydney would blame him after she knew the truth, but he would rather be blamed for her own good.
He wouldn't regret what he did.
A trace of firmness flashed through his eyes and disappeared soon.
In the afternoon, Julien drove to Skylight Corporation after he seized the time to finish his work at hand.
When he arrived at Skylight Corporation, it was 6:00 p.m.
He sat in the car, took out his phone, texted Sydney and told her that he had arrived.
However, she didn't reply to him for a long time.
He couldn't help but start to imagine things. 'Does she not reply to me on purpose because of my question on the phone in the morning?'
He compressed his lips slightly. Then he put his phone into his suit pocket, picked up his coat on the passenger seat, put it on, wore the scarf that Sydney knit, got out of the car and walked towards the door of Skylight Corporation.
The people in the hall of Skylight Corporation were surprised by Julien.
Obviously, they didn't expect him to show up here.
