Julien was happy to hear Sydney's words. His thin lips curved, and his chin was unconsciously raised.
Sydney looked at his smug face and shook her head in amusement.
With his help, she put on her slippers and walked out of the bedroom to the bathroom.
She didn't want him to support her. After all, she was not injured or disabled.
Yet Julien insisted, so she had no choice but to agree.
By the time Sydney freshened up and came out of the bathroom, Julien had already brought her breakfast out of the kitchen to the dining table.
Sydney walked over. Julien even pulled out her chair and patted its back. "Sit down."
Sydney nodded and did as he asked.
Then there was a fork in front of her.
Julien looked at the fork handed to her by Julien and raised her pretty eyebrows. She then reached out and took it. "Thank you."
Julien said, "You're welcome." He sat down beside her. "Eat it. It's all for you."
Sydney looked at the exquisite breakfast in front of her with a bright smile.
Then she thought of something and paused. "Have you eaten?"
"Yes." Julien propped his elbows on the table and rested his head in his hand. He nodded slightly as he said, "I got up early and had a video conference in your study. I ate my breakfast after that."
Sydney nodded. "That's good."
If he had not eaten, she would ask him to eat with her.
"Don't you have to go to the Flint Corporation today?" Sydney took a bite of the sausage and asked.
Julien shook his head slightly. "I have been busy for a few days. Today is the weekend, so I can rest, but this is the last day off before the year ends."
After today, he would be busy again.
He could not relax until after New Year's Eve.
Sydney looked at Julien with sympathy in her eyes. "Well, a big company means a big responsibility, so you have to endure it."
She patted him compassionately on the shoulder.
Julien glanced sideways at her hand on his shoulder and chuckled, "Now, eat your food. We'll go to the police station later to see Greta."
Today Greta's lawyer would show up, so they naturally had to send a lawyer over to handle this case.
When she heard that they were going to see Greta, Sydney nodded seriously and ate quickly.
She had to see Greta.
Sydney didn't see her yesterday, so today, no matter what, Sydney had to meet her.
Suddenly, a cell phone rang, breaking the silence.
Julien frowned and took his phone out. It was his phone ringing.
Sydney glanced at it to see the caller ID, took a sip of milk, and said, "Zach is calling. Pick it up quickly."
Julien nodded, tapped the screen, and answered the call, "What's up?"
"Mr. Flint." Zach's voice sounded over the phone. "You asked me to investigate Greta's identity last night, and I got some clues."
"You found out her identity?" Julien's back straightened immediately.
He didn't avoid Sydney when he answered the phone, and he even put Zach on speaker.
So naturally, Sydney heard Zach's words.
When she heard that Zach had some clues about Greta's identity, she stopped eating and stared at the phone in Julien's hand.
Zach nodded and then shook his head. "Not yet. I just found some clues."
