Seeing Julien's expression, Sydney pulled a wry face. "You have a jealous bone in your body."
Julien glanced at her. "I care about you, so I feel jealous."
'So I feel unhappy.'
She believed his words.
"Alright, I will tell you something, and you will be happy about that." She elbowed his shoulder slightly.
She was so naughty. He grabbed her arm, put it in his palm and pinched it. "What is it?"
"Do you know what Luke told me?" She looked at him.
He compressed his lips. "You contacted him behind my back. How can I know that?"
She rolled her eyes at him. "Contacted him behind your back? Don't say so. It sounds like I have cheated on you. When you asked me who contacted me, I told you frankly."
'Thus, how can he say that I contacted Luke behind his back?'
Julien snorted and kept silent.
She couldn't help laughing. "Alright, I will come straight to the point. Luke complained that his parents admired you so much. He asked what you did to them that you made such a good impression on them. They even praised you in front of him and said that he was not as excellent as than you in every aspect. He doubted if you were their son instead of him. Then are you happy to hear that?"
'All the time, Julien has minded Luke liking me. Thus, every time I contact Luke, he is jealous.
'This time, I have told Julien the embarrassing story of his rival in love, Luke. Julien shouldn't be jealous and angry again.'
As expected, when Julien heard that Luke was despised by the Chases because of him, Julien's eyes lit up. He wasn't as jealous as before and even smiled slightly.
He looked at her and asked, "Is it true that Luke said so?"
She nodded. "Of course, it's true. There is no need for me to lie to you. If you don't believe me, you can ask Luke's parents."
"I believe you." He smiled more brightly and couldn't hide his smile anymore. Also, his eyes were filled with gloat.
Seeing that, she knew that he had cheered up. She pulled a wry face. "Then are you happy now?"
She asked him again.
He looked away, covered his mouth to cough to pretend to be reserved and said tonelessly, "Not bad. I feel happier than before."
Seeing that he was so arrogant, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him, but she wore a smile on her face.
'Obviously, he's in a good mood.
'But he refuses to admit it.'
"Alright, it's time to set off. Let's go."
She looked at her watch. It was past noon. They needed to go to their companies respectively.
They didn't go to work in the morning, so they needed to go to work in the afternoon at least.
He kept silent, nodded, held her hand and walked out together.
They arrived at the parking lot.
Zach leaned against the wall beside Julien's Maybach, lowered his head and clicked on his phone nonstop.
He didn't notice them until they got close to him. He put down his phone and looked up. "Hi, Mr. Flint, Ms. Raines."
Sydney nodded at Zach with a smile to greet him.
Julien looked at Zach and asked, "Have you prepared as I ordered?"
