"Cheers!" Sydney clinked glasses with Julien.
After a crisp sound, she withdrew her glass and tilted her head to take a sip of wine.
The moment it entered her mouth, she made a surprised sound.
Julien turned his head to look at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
Sydney put the glass down and said, "This wine is so sweet."
Julien smiled and nodded, "Of course, I chose it for you. It's more like juice than wine and not as strong as other red wines. It's sweet and suitable for women with low alcohol tolerance.
"That's really good." Sydney blinked, tilted her head, and took another sip.
"Do you like it?" Julien asked, fondling the glass.
Sydney replied, "Yeah. It's perfect."
"I'll send a few cases to Shallow Bay. I have a winery making this wine," Julien said as he took a sip.
Sydney was somewhat tempted, but she did not immediately agree. She asked, "How much for a bottle of this wine?"
"It is quite cheap. 30,000 dollars a bottle," Julien answered.
Sydney's mouth twitched.
Was that cheap?
Yes, for a tycoon like him, it was indeed cheap.
"One case is enough for a year. How long will it take me to drink several cases of it? I'm afraid I'll be tired of it before I can finish it." Sydney held up a finger.
Julien thought for a moment. "In addition to this red wine, there are other fruit wines. Do you want to have a case of each?"
"Other fruit wines?" Sydney was surprised.
Julien nodded. "Yeah. It's a winery after all."
"Well, yes." Sydney tilted her head.
She couldn't resist it.
His offer was so attractive. And that was exactly what she liked.
She liked to eat desserts and have a few drinks now and then, but she liked mild wine which tasted like juice.
So when faced with Julien's offer of those wines, Sydney was allured.
Looking at Sydney's glowing eyes, Julien became even more delighted, and his smile broadened. "OK, I'll have someone arrange it tomorrow."
Sydney nodded. "Cheers."
She held out her glass.
Julien looked down and clinked glasses with her with a bright smile.
The two stood side by side, sipping their wine while looking out at the night sky and the bustling city.
They rarely felt so relaxed.
Soon, Julien tilted his head and downed his glass. He turned slightly sideways and looked at Sydney beside him. "Leaf."
"Yes?" Sydney lowered her glass and looked at him. "What's wrong?"
Julien didn't say anything. He squatted down, put his own glass on the floor, got up, and pulled her hard into his arms by the wrist.
Sydney, who was caught off guard, fell into his arms. The glass in her hand slipped onto the ground with a clatter and broke into pieces.
Even the last bit of red wine in it spilled out, wetting a small part of the ground.
Luckily, before the glass fell, it was in Sydney's hand further from the window.
Otherwise, it would have fallen off the building.
"Julien, what are you..."
Before Sydney could finish, Julien kissed her red lips.
Sydney's eyes widened as she froze.
Obviously, she did not expect Julien would kiss her after he dragged her into his arms.
