Anyway, Sydney was now embarrassed.
She probably knew why the assistant had that look on her face when she saw her and Julien going back to the lounge.
The assistant might have heard it too.
It was so awkward.
Sydney wanted to cry.
Julien was amused. "I thought that you had pushed me away because you had suddenly thought of something big, but it turned out to be these small things. It was no big deal. We are lovers. It is normal for us to canoodle. Sofia is an adult. She will not laugh at us, and in the future, we won't see her often, so we don't have to worry about that, right?"
"Well..." Sydney put her hands down from her face in a daze. "That seems to make sense."
"That’s it," Julien stroked her head.
"But I still feel embarrassed. It's all your fault!" Sydney pouted.
Julien smiled slightly and took her into his arms. "Okay, why don't you hit me?"
"You think I don't dare?" Sydney said, waved her fist, and punched Julien's chest.
But her actions were very light. She was more like giving him a massage rather than beating him. It didn't hurt at all.
Julien grabbed her fist, gently squeezed it, and kissed it. He said, "Your hand must be hurting. Let me kiss your pain away."
Sydney instantly laughed. Her anger was dissipated by Julien's teasing.
"How could my hand hurt? I hit you. Does it hurt?" Sydney looked up at Julien with concern in her eyes.
Julien smiled and shook his head. "Of course not."
Sydney was relieved. "By the way, when I just talked about it, you didn't seem surprised at all. Have you long known Sofia and her assistant heard it?"
"Almost." Julien nodded. "I guessed it when I saw her assistant."
Sydney was embarrassed.
He realized that when he saw Sofia's excited look, yet Sydney was unaware.
Even when Sydney left the studio, she didn't know why Sofia was in the lounge after she came back instead of in the dressing room.
She didn't realize this until now. What a slow reaction.
"Okay, enough about the others. There's still time. Let's continue." Julien gently lifted Sydney's chin, interrupting Sydney's thoughts.
Sydney looked at him resignedly. "I had canceled the reward before, and I thought I could have a good sleep at night. I didn't expect that things would end up like this."
Julien leaned over, his voice low and pleasant. "This was probably because of my good luck. Although you canceled the reward, I won it in another way."
Sydney's eyes widened at his words.
She thought, 'It seems so.
'How else could he have won the prize?
'And it is a big prize like a presidential suite in a couple's hotel.
'So, is Julien really the chosen one?
'I canceled the reward, yet he won the prize and got the reward back in this way.
'Fate is so unfair. Why didn't I win a prize?'
While Sydney was complaining, Julien had already picked her up and walked into the room.
The night was very exciting for Sydney.
Every time she opened her eyes, she saw a room full of "stars".
Several times, she felt that she was having sex with Julien in space.
She and Julien became the first pair who made love in space.
It was so new and thrilling.
That night, Sydney felt an unprecedented sense of excitement.
So the next day, she got up late. When she woke up, it was 10:00 am.
