Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 941

When Anya arrived home, she had just wrapped up a set of Level 4 exam papers over at her boyfriend's place. Meanwhile, Mia hadn't even started on hers yet, so Anya thought she'd keep her aunt company and tackle another set with her.

Molly, in the late stages of pregnancy, had made her way back to her childhood home again. Now that her morning sickness had passed, she seemed to have an endless appetite. After dinner, she was already planning a 'little' midnight snack. "Hey, Mia, Naomi, Anya, how about we order some takeout? Fried chicken sounds good—what flavors do you all want?"

Naomi, watching the kids with a warm smile, opted out herself, "You all go ahead, I'm good."

Hansen piped up, "I'll take the sweet and spicy."

Mia, sitting cross-legged on the carpet, added, "I'll have honey mustard."

Settling down on the carpet, Anya put in her request, "Auntie, I want some popcorn chicken."

"Got it!" Molly said, practically ordering the whole menu. "What about drinks? I'm treating myself to a milk tea."

Mia spread out her papers and grabbed a pen, "Red bean milk tea with pearls for me."

Anya chimed in, "Auntie, I'll go for a fruit tea, less sugar, please."

Hansen was curious, "What's green milk tea like? I've never tried it. Get me one with extra ice."

Molly teased, "Old man, you think you can handle a cold drink this late?"

"Of course! I'm fit as a fiddle, stomach of steel. You youngsters can't compete."

Mia shot back, "As if you weren't the one who ended up in the hospital from eating ice cream."

Hansen fell silent at that.

Molly finally decided against ice, "I'll have ten lamb skewers."

Jade, ready to indulge, added, "Beef tendons, tripe, grilled flatbread, mushrooms, crispy bones... and throw in some clams too."

In the background, Henry was sprawled across the couch, reaching over to tug at his mom's hair for attention. His chin rested on her head, playfully interrupting her studies.

Mia turned around, scooping up her little troublemaker into a hug. "Molly, where’s your husband?"

"Night shift."

Chad had just received his paycheck, and notifications started coming in one after another: "$108 spent," "$68 spent," "$279 spent," and another, "$94 spent."

Donnie, munching on instant noodles, joked, "With your little spending machine, if you were just a regular cop, you’d need to be on the take to keep up with her."

Chad sighed, putting down his phone, "Lucky for us, we’ve got a mine."

Andre, after a quick shower upstairs, came down to a living room table stacked with takeout.

His wife and niece were sitting on the floor, working through papers with an audio lesson playing. Mia was multitasking, munching on a chicken leg while studying.

Molly was in her element, holding four lamb skewers, eating and drinking with gusto. Naomi captured the cozy family scene on her phone, sharing it with the family group. She had once dreamt of a home filled with lively daughters, each with her own charm, playing or studying in the living room—a vibrant, warm home. Dreams do come true.

Chad watched the video repeatedly, "Molly better regain all the weight she lost."

Leo, catching a break from his professional studies, looked at the video his mom sent, "Ms. Anya is bound to gain weight again. I need to keep fit, or I won't be able to lift her."

Andre glanced at his wife and noticed the unusual quiet. With such a feast laid out, why was it so silent?

Where was their little tiger who usually loved being in the thick of things?
