The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1052

Sitting in the airplane, everything felt disturbingly normal, except for the low cabin pressure.

Hours later, the aircraft touched down on a flat stretch of land behind the Royal Estates.

Thalassa had noticed the vast, open space behind the Royal Estates early on but had no idea what it was for.

Only now did she realize that it was a private airstrip exclusive to the Royal Estates!

It was impressive enough when someone had their own parking lot, but Lysander had an entire airstrip at his disposal!

Thalassa's perspective had been broadened time and again when she lived by Lysander’s side. She had witnessed phenomena she'd never even imagined; poverty really had limited her imagination.

The wealthy could possess anything and everything. It was only her own mind that set boundaries on what could exist.

Back at the Royal Estates, Fitch greeted them with a mix of reverence and warmth. "Ms. Everhart, Evelyn, dear children, welcome back! I've been waiting for you all at the house for two days now."

Seeing them return eased the tight knot of worry that had formed in Fitch's chest. He had been on pins and needles, anxious that something untoward might befall Thalassa and the children once they'd left the safety of the Royal Estates, or worse, that they might disappear on his watch.

"Fitch, I'm so tired, and I want to take a nap." Elowen murmured, her little lips puckered and her eyes barely open.

Fitch glanced over to see the other children, each with their heads drooping, clearly exhausted.

"Young masters and mistresses, let's get you to your rooms for some sleep. Your bed sheets have been freshly changed. They're very cozy." Fitch said, quickly motioning for the staff to lead the drowsy brood to their bedrooms.

"Um, could I get a driver to take me back to Star Harbor Villa?" Evelyn asked with a nervous chuckle, clearly out of her element.

She couldn't possibly stay at the Royal Estates. Lysander hadn't even married Thalassa, making even Thalassa presence there somewhat questionable, let alone hers. She residing there would be even more inappropriate, without any real status or claim.
