The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1220

With a thud, Callum's cane hit the ground, and without its support, his body pitched forward, bringing him to his knees.

His wrist was gripped in Lysander's vice-like hand, the pain of his bones threatening to snap slithering into his heart like a venomous snake.

Grimacing through the pain, the muscles in his cheeks taut with the effort to endure, Callum's usually gentle eyes now sparkled with defiance and a hint of mirth as he looked up at Lysander and said, "That insecure, huh? Even if you snuff me out, you think you'll find peace of mind?"

Lysander saw the mockery on Callum's face, and something within him stirred. His voice was cold and ominous, cutting through the air, "And what if I do?"

He tightened his grasp.

A sickening "crack" echoed as Callum's wrist bone fractured.

"Ugh!" Callum stifled a groan, managing not to scream out loud.

"Callum!" Thalassa cried out in alarm, rushing over. She saw the agony etched on his face, sweat beading on his forehead as he knelt by the table, his injured leg trembling slightly, his hand shaking as if it were a leaf in the wind.

Lysander stood like a statue of icy intent, his aura oppressive, making everyone else hard to breathe.

Even after breaking Callum's wrist, his grip did not relent.

Thalassa’s heart was pounding with urgent concern. She reached for Lysander's hand in an attempt to pry it loose, but despite her efforts, his hand remained immovable.

His gaze was as dark and piercing as the edge of a blade.

In this tense standoff, Thalassa's anxiety for Callum's safety skyrocketed. She pleaded, "Lysander, let him go. If you keep this up, his hand will be ruined."

Lysander's chilling gaze turned towards her, its icy edge momentarily startling her into silence.
