The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1237

She had only gone downstairs for a moment. And in that brief time, Alaric and Hertha had done something she had been eager for!

It should have been her with him, not Hertha!

Georgia seethed with jealousy and resentment, her breath coming in heavy, ragged gasps as tears streamed down her cheeks unbidden.

As the couple on the bed seemed to settle into an even rhythm of breath, yet showing no signs of waking, Georgia's emotions exploded. She marched over, grabbed Hertha, and hauled her to the other bed in the room.

The sight of clothes strewn across the floor made Georgia want to torch Hertha's outfit right there and then!

But she had to keep her cool. There was still a chance, and she couldn't afford to slip up now.

She picked up the discarded garments and dressed Hertha back. Then, she stripped off her own clothes and slid next to Alaric.

Georgia tried to kiss Alaric, hoping to stir something within him. But he was as unresponsive as a log. The previous physical satisfaction and the numbing effects of alcohol had him sleeping like a baby. Nothing Georgia did could rouse him.

Impatient yet helpless, Georgia was beside herself with rage, her breaths were sharp and her tears flowed freely.

Her plans were in ruins, all for Hertha's benefit!

A part of her wanted to strangle Hertha right there, but with the police still at the hotel, it would mean throwing her own life away.

Defeated, Georgia had no choice but to pull the covers over herself and Alaric.
