The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1251

The documents Thalassa had to work on were for the new smartphone ad campaign for the Crawley Group.

The latest smartphone needed a fresh ad campaign, and they were sticking with the same agency that had nailed it last time.

That afternoon, Thalassa found herself at the agency's headquarters, overseeing the shoot herself.

Thanks to the previous ad's hit, the agency's head honcho had a fair bit of faith in Thalassa's judgement, leaving the creative direction in her hands.

The gig this time required a model with faux wings, playing the part of an angel and ascending into the sky with the phone in hand, capturing snapshots.

The pitch was catchy, “Lipo, crystal clarity no matter how high you soar. Snap your beauty from the heavens, a celestial experience.”

Zane, the agency's lead, laid out the shoot's specifics to Thalassa, aiming to nail the concept.

Thalassa nodded, "Sounds good. Roll with it. I've got to head back to the office this afternoon."

"Come on, don't bail on us. Without you here, we'll be doing retakes for days. Stay until we wrap this up, then you can jet," a female voice chimed in.

Thalassa turned towards the sound and saw Susan sauntering in, backpack slung over her shoulder, her hair in a high ponytail, chewing gum with a smirk on her lips.

Seeing Susan never did Thalassa any favors mood-wise. She smiled thinly, "Susan, that was quick. No need for the heavy makeup anymore, I see."

The jab hit home—Susan knew Thalassa was poking at their last encounter when she had slapped Susan. Her face darkened, the gum suddenly tasteless. Spitting it out, she hissed, "Disappointed, aren't you? I'm still the lead here. I need Ms. Everhart's guidance to ace this."

Thalassa glanced at the discarded gum, still gleaming with Susan's spite, as distasteful as the woman herself.

"If Susan can't cut it, we can always recast," Thalassa's voice was icy.
