The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1551

Julian and Helena, though led away by their parents, were practically strangers to the couple, having met their in-laws for the first time.

Hertha was worried sick that the kids would be frightened or throw tantrums from not seeing her for a long stretch, fearing her parents wouldn't be able to handle their meltdowns.

"Take a look at this," Ethan said, pulling some documents from his briefcase.

As Hertha started to focus on the jewelry designs, Thalassa shot a meaningful glance at Lysander.

Lysander was holding the documents for the designs she was supposed to work on, yet he hadn't handed them over to her.

She looked at Lysander, but he seemed not to notice her gaze, leisurely sipping his tea as if he wasn't in any rush to get down to business.

Seeing Lysander ignoring her, she politely said, "Mr. Sinclair, is there anything in those documents I can help with?"

If her look wasn't hint enough, Thalassa's words certainly were direct.

After she spoke, her hopeful eyes met his as he calmly placed his teacup down, his deep gaze flicking over to her, saying, "No rush."

Thalassa was puzzled. What did he mean by 'no rush'? Wasn't the whole point of this meeting to tackle work-related issues? Hertha had already dived into work mode, and here she was, still waiting for the documents, being told to take it easy!

Thalassa had always found Lysander's thoughts elusive, and now more than ever.

After about half an hour, Hertha had meticulously explained the technical issues with the designs to Ethan.

Ethan's response was, "I don't sweat the small stuff; just discuss it with our project manager."
