The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 668

Lysander recalled that this was the name of the little boy Elowen had mentioned yesterday.

The little boy might have swept his daughter off her feet.

Lysander cast a deep, penetrating gaze at Thalassa.

Thalassa didn't know why she felt nervous. She was simply going through a test paper.

Even if Lysander saw it, it wouldn't matter. Yet, when she saw him, she instinctively hid the rest of the study material.

It felt as if she weren't allowed to do anything in front of him unless it was to cater to his physiological needs.

His powerful aura invaded her space, prompting her to instinctively hide anything that didn't concern him, fearing what would happen if he discovered them.

Under Lysander's oppressive gaze, Thalassa tried to nervously explain. "He's Mr. Ethan's nephew. Mr. Ethan asked me to tutor him in Spanish. I was planning to understand all the questions today, so I could explain them to him tomorrow."

"So why are you hiding?" Lysander's deep gaze scrutinized her, not giving her a chance to dodge his questions.

"I don't know. It's just an instinctive reaction." Thalassa confessed honestly.

Wasn't it because you scare me? She thought.

Every time she had any interaction with others or did anything unrelated to him in his presence, it would become a reason for him to punish her.

She was traumatized.

Lysander saw that she was looking at him without any guilt. His eyes darkened slightly, and he casually threw the exam paper on the nightstand. "It's late. Go to sleep."

"But I haven't understood this paper yet. I won't be able to tutor him tomorrow." Thalassa didn't want to sleep yet.

It was only ten o'clock. If he couldn't sleep and wanted to do some other things...

Thalassa tried to delay the inevitable as much as possible, hoping that both of them would be too tired to do anything else but sleep.

"Then don't tutor him." Lysander loosened his tie, speaking nonchalantly.

Thalassa's heart raced as she watched him remove his tie, and she instinctively moved closer to get back the paper. "But it's my job."
