Ethan brewed two cups of espresso at the bar, then made his way over to Thalassa, handing her one.

Thalassa was taken aback, hurriedly accepting the coffee from him. "Thank you, Mr. Ethan."

"Mr. Ethan, is there a task you need me to handle?" Thalassa asked, breaking the silence.

"Don't be nervous; take a sip of your coffee first." Ethan took a sip from his own cup after speaking.

He looked quite relaxed, as if he had no pressing matters to attend to.

Thalassa let her guard down momentarily, taking a sip of her coffee. She savored the taste, then smiled, saying, "This is really good. I didn't expect you to be so skilled at making coffee."

"Right? I think it's not bad either." Ethan put down his cup and said, "From now on, you'll be the only one in the secretarial office. You'll have a lot of work to do. I'll handle the small tasks like making coffee myself. Of course, with the increase in your workload, your salary will naturally increase as well."

Thalassa's eyes widened in surprise. "Just me? What about Betty?"

"She's been transferred to our Afriland branch, so she won't be back for a while." Ethan explained, "She loves traveling for work, so I thought I'd grant her wish and let her do it for a while longer."
