"Mmm, the kids will be out of school soon. I'll grab some lunch and then we can go pick them up together." Thalassa suggested.

"Sounds good, they'll be thrilled to see their mom." Fitch nodded, grinning.

Thalassa didn't further the conversation, instead heading to the dining table to start her meal.

She needed to replenish her strength so she could keep up with the kids' energy.

An hour later, Thalassa and Fitch set off to the daycare to pick up their children.

When they arrived, Thalassa stepped out of the car and headed towards the entrance of the daycare. She noticed a familiar figure - a woman eagerly peering through the iron gate.

Thalassa quickened her pace, "Mom..."

Evelyn turned around. She was surprised to see Thalassa, "Thalassa, what brings you here?"

"I'm here to pick up the kids." Thalassa explained, not asking why Evelyn was there. She knew her mother must have missed the children.

Evelyn was about to say something but stopped short when she noticed Fitch, who had followed Thalassa.

Shortly after, the school bell rang and the teachers started to bring the children out.
