"Hop in, we're taking Keira to the Olsons tonight."
"I didn't agree to this."
"Seriously, you can't see a good thing when it hits you in the face. If it wasn't for Keira insisting on throwing you a bone, do you really think you'd be invited? Get in the car!"
"Such an honor." Chloe snorted sarcastically.
"Even if you're a hundred percent against it, you need to put on a good show." Carolina sighed heavily.
"Chloe, what's wrong? Is it about your grandma...?”
"Nothing, you rest up. I'm hanging up."
"Mmm..."
After hanging up, Chloe glanced at Carolina in the car, stayed quiet for a moment, then finally opened the door and got in.
"Let's go."
Carolina was puzzled and a bit worried about Chloe's sudden change of heart.
"I'm warning you, we're only taking you because of Keira's kindness. Don't stir up any trouble when we get there!"
"If you don't trust me that much, maybe I shouldn't go?"
Carolina shot her a glare and told the driver to start the car.
The Olsons had a pretty large estate. It had recently been renovated, filled with greenery and luxurious architecture, looking like an old castle.
Several luxury cars were already parked outside the estate; clearly the Olson's relatives had arrived early. The villa was filled with laughter and a happy atmosphere, reminding everyone that it was a special day.
