After watching the two videos, Finn's heart had settled on a verdict.
He turned to Clara, "Sweetie, what in the world is going on here?"
Even though Finn had just seen Clara tangled up with an older man, his tone remained gentle, a stark contrast to the icy edge he'd used when calling Ivy the day before.
That was the difference.
No matter the mistake, Finn wouldn't truly blame Clara, let alone abandon her.
But Ivy, she was dispensable.
"Dad, he's a film producer. My agent introduced me to him. I was just trying to land a role, and nothing else happened between us."
Clara looked at Finn with a face full of distress. "Breaking into showbiz was my choice. I didn't want to trouble you to clear the path for me, so I had to rely on myself."
"And what about this?" Ivy pulled out a piece of paper; it was a hotel check-in record.
Thank goodness for Quinton. Without him, she'd never have been able to get her hands on this.
"Why does the hotel room booked under my sister's name have a man named Vincent checked in?"
