Chase shrugged nonchalantly, "I'm just curious, that's all. How did that guy win you over?"
Ellinor fell silent.
Ida came over with a cup of coffee and lightly kicked Chase, "Buzz off! Ellinor is busy working, and you're here chit-chatting about nonsense."
Chase was kicked aside. He patted his pants lightly and looked at Ida, feeling displeased.
Ida put the coffee on the desk next to Ellinor, "Ellinor, did you actually patch things up with Mr. Blanchet last night?"
Ellinor struggled to find a response.
Chase rolled his eyes, "Aren't you as curious as I am?"
Ellinor didn't answer their questions. She flipped to the last page of the financial report in her hand, "Hmm, not bad. The financial report for the second half of the year has improved a lot compared to the first half. You two have worked hard. We still have a long way to go in terms of real estate development compared to those established groups."
Ida, as always, was serious about her work. She nodded after hearing this, "Okay, I got it."
Ellinor closed the folder and took a sip of her coffee.
Ida suddenly thought of something, "Oh right, Ellinor, we've finished the design for the new office building for the Blanchet Corporation. They were very satisfied with the final design you provided, and now they've handed over the construction to us."
Ellinor sipped her coffee and pondered for a while, then said, "Okay, I'll handle the construction of the Blanchet Corporation's new building. I'll supervise it personally."
Ida was a bit surprised. She adjusted her glasses and said, "Ellinor, you're going to supervise the construction yourself? The site conditions are harsh, and there is a risk of objects falling on you from great heights, especially since you're pregnant."
