The men were gossiping. Their words were full of admiration and jealousy.
The woman sneered, "It was impossible for such a man to be supported by a woman. Let me tell you something about his background."
The men shrugged their shoulders and said, "No need."
"You are so ignorant. Don't slander my prince charming!" The woman was so excited that she exclaimed, "Have you heard of CH Corporation? It was started by him. Its branches are in the UK, Athana, Norwood and Lanechett. His parents are important local officials in Norwood. He was born in a rich family. His grandpa was a state official before retiring. His brother i s a police chief. How could such a man be supported by a woman?"
All of them were silent. Billy’s family background couldn’t be comparable to this man's.
"Is he from the Wright family? According to the news, it is the richest family in Lanechett." One man whispered.
The woman said, "Of course. It is a really famous and rich family. Sherman is so lucky. After she divorced Billy, she married a richer man. The title of 'the richest man i n Lanechett' is shocking enough! It is said that some people are born to be lucky. Even if she divorced Billy, she could marry a better man. Sherman is indeed beautiful.
But many women are prettier than her.
Why aren't they as lucky as she is?"
Hearing her words, others sighed and felt envious of Sherman!
"But some people are too unlucky. Even if she married a rich man, they got divorced within a few months."
Natalie was originally very sensitive. Once she heard such words, she lost her temper.
She turned her head to look at that woman with sharp eyes, "What are you talking about?"
That woman wasn't afraid of her. They had conflicts before. The woman said angrily," Well, I just feel sorry for some people."
"Don't pretend!" Natalie walked over quickly. Just as Natalie was about to raise her hand to slap that woman, that woman clutched her wrist and sneered, "Are you
crazy? How dare you slap me?"
Others looked at the two of them silently.
