A Contract Marriage After a ONS novel Chapter 1140

Kingsley's niece thought that Kingsley treated Sherman differently. He had never treated Merlin like that. Although he smiled at Merlin, he was somewhat aloof towards her.

Sherman returned to the room and went to take a shower. Kingsley was worried about her, so he followed her to the bathroom to help her.

Sherman had refused many times, but Kingsley was insistent. He was afraid that she would fall over.

He was considerate towards her. He took everything into account for her even though she hadn't thought so much. He was reluctant to see her feel uncomfortable. She had no appetite after she was pregnant. He frowned and felt annoyed for that. He was worried about her and thus stayed by her side all the time.

Sherman put on pajamas after she had a shower. Kingsley stayed in the bathroom and had taken off his suits.

He planned to take a cold shower.

It was dark outside. The white gauzes fluttered slightly. Sherman and Kingsley were sleeping soundly. They were a perfect match.

Suddenly, Sherman sat up and stroked her hair with her hands.

As time went by, her belly became bigger and Kingsley woke up more easily. As long as she moved slightly, he would notice.

He turned on the lights, narrowed his eyes and sat up. The silk pajamas fell from his body and revealed his strong chest. He asked, "What's the matter?"

Sherman bit her lip and kept silent.

Kingsley was shocked and asked, "What's the matter? Are you having a bellyache? Or something else? Honey, tell me. Speak slowly."

She shook her head, "I want to eat pancakes. I'm so longing for them that I even can't fall asleep."

Kingsley smiled. He pulled a wry face but said gently, "OK. I will buy pancakes for you. Wait for me on the bed."

Sherman looked at the watch and said, "It's 2 a m. Where can you buy pancakes?

Forget it."

However, he took his coat and suits and put on them quickly. He said as he smoothed the collar, "I’ll be right back."

Sherman said, "Forget it. It's late. There is n o need for you to do that."

Kingsley smiled gently. He tucked her in, took the keys from the dresser and kissed her. He said, "It's rare for you to have an appetite. I will buy them for you..."

He drove to look for pancakes in Lanechett at 2 a m.

It was difficult for him to look for the pancakes. All the supermarkets had been closed.

He was reluctant to drive back, but all the stores had been closed. He had no other choice but to call his friends who were in Lanechett one by one.
