Glancing at Brad, Luke rolled the car window up.
As if thinking of something, Luke spoke to Brad, "Your mom seems to be hunting for a spouse."
"Actually, I think Mr. Lyall is pretty good."
Brad did not dislike Ruben.
"Pretty good?"
Luke’s tone changed slightly, becoming a little weird.
"If my mom really marries Mr. Lyall in the future, I'll bless them."
Brad said in a serious tone, "I think if Mom marries Mr. Lyall, she will be happy in the future." "You've only seen that man twice. How can you make sure that he is a good man?"
Luke stepped on the accelerator harder.
"Yeah. I find he knows how to take care of Mom. After you and Mom got married, you seldom came back. Even when you came back, you were not good to Mom."
"Mr. Lyall is different. He accompanied us t o the supermarket this afternoon. After we bought the food, he took it. He didn't let my mom take it. And he even helped Mom when she was cooking."
"You have never done these things before. I think Mr. Lyall can bring my mom happiness.”
Hearing this, Luke stretched out his hand t o unbutton his shirt again. His actions were a bit rude and several buttons were torn off.
"What do you know as a kid? When a man chases a woman, he often talks smartly and does a lot of things for her. When he gets the woman, his attitude will change, you know?"
"Don't be fooled by a man’s behavior. Some men are nothing more than wolves in sheep's clothing. Tell your mom these words so that she won't be cheated and harmed."
"Now you are too young. Maybe you don’t understand. But when you grow up, maybe you will become that kind of man."
Brad didn't believe it.
