Charlie paused and explained, "You have misunderstood me. I know that it's me who have made the mistake, but I have no feelings for her at all. I was exhausted at that time. I felt relaxed when I stayed by her side, so I mistakenly believed that I had feelings for her."
However, Grace didn't say anything else. She wheeled him forward. The car was parked along the road. She helped Charlie get in the car and then started the car.
Charlie said, "Tell me how you will forgive me. I can do anything as long as you forgive me." He didn't know what he could do.
Grace said, "OK." Hearing that, Charlie smiled brightly. Then Grace said indifferently, "Turn back the clock. If all these things didn't happen, I would forgive you."
Hearing that, Charlie became silent.
He didn't say anything else. He couldn't turn back the clock.
They returned to Charlie's villa soon. She wheeled him into the villa. They kept silent along the way.
The nanny called Grace and told her that Eaton was crying.
Grace left. Charlie was left alone in the villa.
Eaton was hungry. Although he was small, he knew how to show his dissatisfaction. The nanny prepared the formula milk for him, but he disliked it.
After Grace nursed Eaton, she started to design the drawings. When she finished work and stood up to stretch, it was 7 p.m. It was dark outside. The nanny called her to have dinner.
Andrew hadn't come back. She had dinner alone. She saw that the lights in Charlie's villa were on, but Charlie had never come out.
She remembered that he hadn't found a nurse yet. What was worse, his legs were hurt. He was alone in the villa. How could he take care of himself?
Then she realized that she had overthought it. He had nothing to do with her. There was no need for her to care about him.
She went upstairs with Eaton in her arms to take a rest. In the following four days, she stayed in the villa. She had handed the design drawings of the new series of jewelry, so she didn't need to go to the company.
Charlie had never walked out of the villa in the four days.
The doors of his villa had been closed all the time.
