Her tears, fell onto the back of his hand, which caught the man who was lost in memories off guard.

He cupped her face, wiping away her tears.

"Eleanor, I didn't show you these to make you cry, but to tell you that I've always loved you."

He couldn't travel back in time, so he could only tell her this way. The man from the past, was also secretly in love with her.

Feeling his love, Eleanor gently nodded, but blurted out unexpectedly, "Is my makeup smudged?"

Hailey spent half an hour doing her makeup, only to have it ruined by tears on the night of the proposal. She must have looked awful now.

His voice was always cold, but it was always soft in front of her. This preference always warmed Eleanor's heart.
