A Second Chance at Forever (Eleanor and Bernard) novel Chapter 954

After meeting with Peterson, Bernard returned to Fiord Roundabout. Eleanor was helping Nina with her homework and immediately went to help him take off his coat when she saw him return.

"Everything went well?"

Eleanor handed the coat to the servant next to her, then stood on her tiptoes to help him loosen his tie. Her caring actions made Bernard couldn't resist giving her a peck on the cheek.

Nina, who was doing her homework at the table, covered her eyes with her chubby little hands when she saw this, then deliberately left a crack to sneak a peek at them.

"Serenina Ziegler, go to your room."

Bernard nodded at her.

Nina was a little upset and muttered, "Bernard is so annoying…"

Even though she said so, she still picked up her workbook, followed quickly with her little legs, and ran to her room.

After Nina had returned to her room, Bernard picked up Eleanor and said, "Your assignment is due as well, right?"

As Eleanor rested in his arms, she playfully pinched his flawless face and asked, "Which assignment should I submit?"

Nodding slightly, the man in front of her replied, "Once you finish your assignment, I'll let you know if Sigrid and Peterson are together."

This time, Eleanor wasn't easily fooled and responded, "Say it if you want, but it doesn't matter if you don't. I'm going to sleep with Nina soon."

Hearing that Eleanor planned to sleep with Nina, Bernard grew slightly anxious and pleaded, "Alright, I'll tell you, just don't leave me alone in the room."

Eleanor chuckled and said, "That's more like it."

She pointed, "Put me on the couch, or I'm going to sleep with Nina."

That method worked best. Bernard picked her up and obediently put her on the couch.

Eleanor asked, "Are Sigrid and Peterson together?"

Bernard sat opposite her, "They both agreed to get to know each other, so I guess they are together?"

Upon hearing this answer, Eleanor laughed, "I didn't expect my last big client to be your brother-in-law."

Mentioning this, Bernard was a bit puzzled, why did Yates Sharp insist that Emilia personally survey the site?

Normally, such a trivial matter, as the tycoon of North Funland, Yates Sharp, would never personally order him to do it.

Bernard felt that something was not quite right behind this, but he also felt that Yates Sharp couldn't possibly do anything to an architect he had never met, right?

Thinking about this, Bernard asked Eleanor, "When are you planning to survey the Sharp family's site?"

Eleanor pointed to a pile of blueprints on the living room table, "When I finish designing these projects."

"How long will that take?"

"About three or four months."
