Even though the sun was beaming over Crimson Palace from high up in the sky, Jared and the others were still sleeping. After all, none of them got a good rest last night.
Rumble...
Suddenly, a loud noise was heard. Soon, the large stone in front of Crimson Palace was shattered into dust.
That caused the illusion spell protecting Crimson Palace to vanish instantly.
That noise woke Jared and the others up.
Cecilia promptly brought her people to the entrance. Jared followed too.
When they arrived, they saw Tobias standing at the entrance with people from the Rider family while glaring at the Crimson Palace.
Murderous intent exploded from Tobias' body.
Everyone shook a little when they sensed that murderous intent.
By that point, Cecilia's body hadn't fully recovered yet. When she saw Tobias at her doorstep with his people, her expression darkened.
Upon regaining her composure, she asked, “Why have you come to the Crimson Palace so aggressively, Mr. Rider?”
“Cecilia, you b*tch! Stop pretending and tell me who killed my brother and destroyed the Rider residence! Get him out here now!” Tobias was certain it wasn't done by her because he knew she wasn't that powerful.
In response, she frowned. “Mr. Rider, your brother worked together with Desmond to drug me. He wanted to violate me, but now he's dead. It's his own fault.”
The fury in Tobias' heart burned even brighter when he heard that. “So, you're saying you're not going to hand that person over to me, eh, Cecilia? In that case, I shall kill everyone in Crimson Palace to avenge my brother!”
When he finished speaking, the aura on his body instantly expanded. Waves of pressure were sent toward the Crimson Palace crowd.
Some of the weaker disciples began vomiting blood as their faces turned pale.
