Right then, Flaxseed walked over and said to Jared, "It seems like he really doesn't know..."
Jared could also tell that the so-called crown prince did not know anything.
"What a cr*ppy crown prince who doesn't know anything!" Jared cursed. However, the young man dared not say anything to retort upon hearing the insult.
Flaxseed asked the young man, "Let me ask you. Who taught you ancient magecraft?"
"I-It's..."
The young man stuttered, apparently reluctant to tell.
Flaxseed delivered a tight slap across the man's face and immediately rendered his face swollen.
Jared was shocked by Flaxseed's action.
A moment ago, Flaxseed had attempted to defuse the situation by behaving cordially toward the young man. However, he suddenly changed his mind and struck the young man.
"Mr. Flaxseed, what are you doing?" Jared asked in puzzlement.
Flaxseed explained, "Since things have come to this and there's no hiding anything anymore, why should we be lenient with him?"
Upon hearing that, words eluded Jared.
"Yes. We can't condone his behavior anymore," said Colin as he charged toward the young man and launched a kick at him.
Before Colin's kick landed on the young man, the latter yelled, "Okay, okay, I'll speak! I'll tell you guys everything! My father was the one who taught me this magecraft. Only a few people on Encanta Island know of this magecraft!"
"Let's go. Bring me to your father."
Flaxseed grabbed the young man and yanked him up from the ground.
"Mr. Flaxseed, are you planning to break into the palace?" Jared questioned.
"Since we can't investigate in secrecy anymore, let's just ask Terrell. It's not like he can win against you."
Flaxseed smiled at Jared.
Seeing this, Jared reciprocated the smile and followed them.
