“You insolent spirit! Did you really think I wouldn't notice?” Flaxseed yelled as the charms began glowing brighter and brighter.

The look on Evangeline's face contorted when the light from the charms shone on her body.

“Stop it, Mr. Flaxseed!”

Jared swiftly stepped forward and yanked Flaxseed away from her before swatting the charms to the floor.

“Have you lost your mind, Jared? She didn't return to normal! She has been possessed by another spirit!” Flaxseed shouted angrily.

“I know that, Mr. Flaxseed. Look, I can explain...”

Jared then gave Flaxseed a quick explanation of what had happened earlier.

Evangeline's eyes were teary as she stood there.
