“Of course, I do! I even know there are many of you among the royal family. You guys are in charge of observing celestial phenomena and predicting luck.”
As the precious daughter of Duke Ross, Anne naturally had knowledge about Flaming Sect.
Even so, the sect was foreign to commoners, for commoners would not have the chance to come into contact with them.
But as soon as Anne finished talking, Joel snorted. “Don't even mention them. They're no longer a part of Flaming Sect. They've betrayed our sect and broken our ancestral rules. In fact, they've been kicked out of Flaming Sect long ago.”
“Ah... I see.”
Anne was utterly dumbfounded. She wasn't aware that the members of Flaming Sect in the royal family were outcasts of the sect.
“Ladies and gentlemen, as you've seen, someone cast a spell here earlier. They used the spell for searching caves and tombs,” said Danny to Jared and his group.
“Oh, we saw a few people in robes earlier, but they've left already,” responded Jared.
“Looks like someone's going to beat us to it. We need to leave now.”
After saying that, Joel dashed forward.
Though he was blind, he moved around as if he could see.
Seeing that, Danny quickly ran after Joel with his men.
“Jared, what do we do?” Anne asked.
“We go after them, of course!”
With that, Jared followed after them.
Although the path heading up the mountain was windy, it was a piece of cake for them to catch up with Danny and Joel.
When Danny noticed Jared and the others had caught up with them, he could not help but frown. “Why are you people following us instead of descending the mountain?”
“We just want to enjoy the scenery and see if you guys can find the entrance to the ancient ruins. Don't worry though. We definitely won't fight against you over the things in the ruins. We're just curious,” assured Jared.
Danny frowned slightly before glancing in Joel's direction.
