Jared did not want to talk too much about the hidden sects.
Cecilia greeted Archer and Skyler with a smile, and they reciprocated.
Knowing that Archer and Skyler were curious about everything, Jared gave them time to explore. “Go and take a walk around Deragon Sect now. We'll depart once I've made the necessary arrangements!” he said.
The duo nodded and left while Jared checked on Flaxseed and Godrick.
“Archer, Jadeborough is huge. The land occupied by Deragon Sect alone has got to be way bigger than our Luminous Sect!” Skyler commented, in awe of the grand architecture of Deragon Sect.
“These are all worldly possessions. As martial artists, we should focus on cultivation. Deragon Sect might seem majestic, but did you not notice the people here are good for nothing? They're all so weak that any of us from Luminous Sect can easily take them down,” Archer replied in disdain.
Though he was just as impressed by the magnificent environment and buildings in Deragon Sect, he was too arrogant to admit it.
That was why he intentionally diverted Skyler's attention to focus on their capabilities.
With that, Skyler said nothing more. The two continued to walk, enjoying the scenery within Deragon Sect.
As for Jared, he chartered a plane and flew to Quadfield after examining Flaxseed's and Godrick's wounds.
At first, he wanted to give Archer and Skyler a day to explore Jadeborough properly, but Flaxseed's and Godrick's condition made him realize that time was of the essence. There was no room for delay.
That was why he still needed to look for Chester and attend the Secret Realm Conference once he was sure that the two men were in good hands.
Jared had limited knowledge about the families in the secret realm, especially the capabilities of the sects and the prestigious families.
